When I apply it thinly with a spatula, my skin looks like I just left a professional makeup counter. I'm using Giverny Icy as well, and when I layer them together, the adhesion and hydration feel noticeably better. Honestly, it's really impressive. The shade is nice and the staying power is great. I don't have any complaints about it! Just be careful not to apply it too thickly, or your pores might feel congested. The spatula and sponge combination works best.

Honestly, I've been skipping heavy base makeup lately because it feels so suffocating. The formula is kind of like an emulsion—super hydrating and dewy without feeling oily, you know? It blends out beautifully. I usually use a brush, but when I'm in a rush in the morning, I just swipe it on with my fingers and tap it in with a sponge, and that works great too! The semi-matte finish is perfect for the season ahead, especially as we head into summer. Even though it has a dry base, it doesn't feel tight or cause that annoying oil slick later in the day. I'm honestly really happy with this one! If you need to cover a larger area, you'll have to go over it again to get full coverage. Since it applies so sheer, I found myself needing two thin layers for complete coverage on important days, which was a bit disappointing. When I apply it with a brush, my skin looks so smooth and refined! And if I gently tap it in with a sponge, there's barely any patchiness. Doing two thin layers instead of one thick layer actually gives you a nice subtle glow too! I'd definitely recommend it.
