I absolutely loved that this product is so clean and simple—it's hard to even categorize it as harmful or harmless because it contains virtually no active ingredients at all. There's been so much debate about whether to wipe it off with a cleansing wipe or rinse it away, but this feels like the perfect middle ground that works for everyone! I haven't found any major drawbacks so far, but I did notice that the opening of the container gets a bit loose with frequent use. I pour distilled water as needed and use it with peace of mind because the cloth is made with quality ingredients and has no harsh chemicals. I love that there are no preservatives in this product, so I can trust and use the quality ingredients with confidence. Since you have to open and pour the water each time you use it, you need to finish it within 5 days, but I think that's actually a good thing because it means the formula stays safe and fresh. I felt so much more reassured just knowing the product was water-based. That's really all there is to it. When I poured the water to use this product, there was a slight disinfectant-like smell. It's supposed to be fragrance-free, but there's definitely an odor, even if it's faint. My baby broke out in a rash after using it. Normally we finish a pack in about 3 days, but by the time we were on our third pack, my baby's skin started turning red. This never happened when we used regular water wipes, so it's clearly not compatible with my baby's skin. These wipes are fantastic and I love using them without worrying about the ingredients! You can use them dry as regular tissues or wet them with water to use as cleansing wipes - honestly, both ways work great. They're thick and gentle, so I'm really happy with how I'm using them. The only downside is that you need to use them within a certain timeframe, but when I think about the quality ingredients, I'm still really satisfied with them. I love that I can use them as dry tissues and then just add water when I need them as wipes. Plus, they come in different varieties, but they all seem pretty similar to me, so I don't notice much difference even when I go for the more affordable option.
