The formula is rich and substantial, so it stays put all day long. Even when it does fade, it never looks patchy or uneven. It can clog pores. When I wear a mask, the product sits white and heavy in my pores, which is frustrating. The texture is quite thick, which worked okay for my very oily skin, but it might feel heavy on drier skin types. The white cast is quite noticeable. Rather than giving a natural brightening effect, it honestly feels like you're applying a white cream on top of your skin. Except for the T-zone, it has a dry texture, so there's a slight dryness during winter, but it's really convenient for light coverage and evening out my skin tone. Since my job doesn't allow makeup, this is perfect for covering up a dull complexion. First, check the ingredients before buying. Once you apply it, you can really feel the brightening effect, and it doesn't have that heavy, sticky feeling, so I love the texture. The formula is gentle, fragrance-free, and easy to use without any worries. The lightweight consistency spreads smoothly without clumping or streaking. Since it's a brightening product, you do need to blend it carefully around the eyebrows, nose, and hairline. That's pretty obvious though. The downside is that it does fade and look dull as the day goes on, which is unavoidable. After applying sunscreen and spreading this thinly, I finish with Innisfree's no-sebum powder to really lock in that brightened, natural look. If you have active breakouts, this product can make them more visible and noticeable on the skin. In those cases, I'd suggest layering it with a BB cream or skipping it altogether. Also, the coverage can be tricky to control—apply too much and it looks chalky or uneven. The brightening results show up right away. It's not overly harsh on the skin either. You really need to get the amount just right. If you have deeper skin like mine and apply too much, it becomes way too noticeable and can look patchy.
