I tested several shades in-store and ended up going with the staff's recommendation. The moment it touches your lips, it glides on smoothly and feels incredibly moisturizing. While it's definitely hydrating, it doesn't have that overly glossy feel, making it perfect for everyday wear. Even though I have a deeper skin tone, the color shows up beautifully on my face. One application gives you a really vibrant color, and when I layer it multiple times, it doesn't look overdone—it just adds more moisture and richness. It looks great even when I wear it with no other makeup. While it doesn't fade as quickly as some other hydrating lipsticks, the staying power isn't quite as long-lasting as you'd get with a matte formula.

The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous, and I love how it leaves my lips feeling so moisturized and dewy. I don't even need to use another product on top because it gives me that hydrated lip look I'm going for! The staying power doesn't quite match the color intensity, which is a bit disappointing. That said, the shade is so pretty that I keep reaching for it anyway! If you want it to last longer, try applying a matte lipstick first as a base, then layer this product on top. It'll give you better longevity and look even more beautiful!

I love how forgiving it is! The product amount feels a bit skimpy, so I'm not sure the value for money is really there. I accidentally dropped it once and got a scratch on it, and since the case has that shiny finish, the scratch shows up way too easily.
