I have combination skin, and even when I do a quick skincare routine and apply this, it doesn't feel heavy or sticky. Sure, a little shine comes through after a while, but that's normal for me. What really impressed me is that I have sensitive skin too, and I haven't had a single breakout since using this product! My T-zone gets oily so fast—literally within an hour, I'm reaching for powder to touch up. I have to reapply powder every single hour, which is frustrating. On the bright side, my cheeks and the area around my eyes, which tend to be dry, stayed comfortable and didn't feel parched at all. The staying power is a bit disappointing though. I also deal with some redness, and by the time school ends, that redness is completely visible and noticeable. During summer, I use a dewy cushion on my cheeks, but for my forehead and nose where I get that oily shine, I switch to a matte cushion—I'm currently using Espoir Be Velvet. This is a product I keep coming back to and using regularly. If you're someone who loves a natural, understated look, I'd definitely recommend it. No, there aren't really any downsides. Results may vary depending on your skin type, but for my sensitive, reactive skin that tends toward redness, this product worked absolutely wonderfully without any irritation. That said, if you're looking for full coverage with a clean, fresh finish, this might not be the best choice for you. When I layer it two to three times, the coverage does build up, but it starts to feel a bit heavy on the skin. I'd really recommend this for anyone who prefers a lighter touch—just one application for a subtle glow and to even out your skin tone without needing heavy coverage. The amount of product feels a bit skimpy for the price, but honestly, everything else about it is great.

The lightest shade feels a bit off for shade 19, honestly. I end up only wearing it for work or quick trips nearby. This cushion is incredibly hydrating. I'm so glad NARS finally released a truly moisturizing cushion formula. It delivers a dewy finish while still providing decent coverage, and the way it adheres to the skin is really impressive. I picked up the brightest pink shade available, which is Seoul, but I have to say the color doesn't have that luminous quality I was hoping for. NARS also makes a Radiant Cushion in the Seoul shade, and this one feels noticeably more muted in comparison. There's definitely a difference in coverage too, which might explain some of it. Since this is a hydrating cushion formula, the wear time is just okay—it doesn't last as long as I'd like. While it does break down beautifully when it does fade, if you want better longevity, setting it with powder is really a must.
