This product is absolutely fantastic for acne scars! If you frequently deal with breakouts and need to manage dark spots and discoloration, you really should keep this on hand. It's truly the best. Oh, and when you apply it, your skin becomes incredibly plump and dewy. I wasn't expecting this, but it's amazing for hydration and moisture replenishment too! There's nothing good about it. My complexion has gotten noticeably brighter, and those stubborn discolored acne scars have genuinely faded a bit. Though honestly, I can't tell if that's from the product or just time doing its thing, haha! It really does seem to help with brightening, but the more I use it, the more these tiny bumps keep popping up, so I had to stop. I'm wondering if it's because of the 5% niacinamide making my skin sensitive, but even after waiting a few days and trying again, those little bumps come right back. Since my skin tone is naturally darker, I've been using this on my body instead.
