The formula used to feel quite thick and heavy, but it's been reformulated over time, so now it has a lighter consistency that's much easier to use. Doesn't irritate facial skin. It's not an extraordinary conditioner. Rather than making a dramatic difference in hair quality, it's more of a daily maintenance product that prevents further damage. If your hair is already compromised from coloring or perming, don't expect to see noticeable improvement. When you shower, wash your hair first, apply the conditioner, and then let it sit while you wash your body. This works better than rinsing it out right away. You'll notice the difference in your hair texture once you dry it.
