It glides on so smoothly and the color is absolutely gorgeous. When I use it after exfoliating, my lips feel incredibly silky and refined. Why wouldn't you buy this as a base shade...? I picked it up during a buy-one-get-one promotion after seeing a YouTuber recommend it. The packaging is so sleek and pretty, and it's absolutely perfect to use as a base color. Even though there are tons of other products out there, I keep coming back to this one. If you want to do an overlip effect or create a gradient, you have to try this shade. It's the perfect color—not too bold, not too subtle. And the price is incredibly affordable! Please don't discontinue this... I just finished my bottle and I'm definitely buying it again. I can't imagine using anything else! For an overlip look, apply this shade along the outer edges of your lips, then fill in the center with your main lip color. I used to wonder if a lip base was really necessary, but after trying this product, I now use it as a base for all my lipsticks. It's absolutely amazing! It's also perfect for overlining your lips, so if you're someone who likes to overline, I highly recommend it! It works beautifully with almost all warm-toned lipsticks, and it's great as a base even for some cool-toned shades! When my lips are dry or flaky, I can't use this at all. The texture just emphasizes every bit of dryness. Make sure to apply plenty of lip balm or vaseline the night before you use it. I have a collection of bright, neon-toned lipsticks that don't usually work well on me, but when I use this lip base underneath them, they actually look great! If you love bold, statement lipsticks like I do, definitely get yourself a lip base. This is Nature Republic's hidden gem product! For those with deep undertones, this works beautifully as a base lip or nude lip shade. If you use this product as a lip base, it can even cover darker lip lines! You'll get great coverage. There's been buzz that this is similar to MAC's Powder Kiss line, but honestly, they're not that alike haha... I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with deep undertones! The texture isn't soft, so exfoliating before applying is a must. The case does show fingerprints easily though. If you're warm-toned, I bet you have at least one cool-toned lip shade sitting unused in your makeup drawer, right? This product is perfect for bringing those forgotten shades back to life!

The more you layer it, the more pink comes through. It's more of a beige plus a hint of pink coral vibe rather than pure pink. I was hoping to find the perfect beige-nude-pink base lip, but this one didn't quite hit the mark. The left shade is Stone Brick 301, and the top one is Espoir Butter Rum. Since this is an online-exclusive product, I'm disappointed that I can't test it out in stores. This is hands down the lightest matte lip I've ever tried, and it applies so seamlessly like you're barely wearing anything. The price is super affordable too, and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. I'd definitely recommend it as a base lip product. This is an excellent nude base lip in a beautiful beige shade. The formula doesn't feel like a typical matte lipstick - instead, it applies like a soft mist that glides on effortlessly. Even after multiple applications, there's no clumping or heavy buildup. The lipstick works best when you exfoliate and smooth out any dry patches on your lips first, otherwise it won't look as pretty when applied. Tag Beige: I'd recommend this for deeper undertones, it's a muted pink beige. Honestly, I thought it was a perfect match at first, but it's not quite that perfect. Still, it's worth trying at least once. What I noticed: The case is a bit chunky and it can emphasize dry patches, but the color payoff is excellent. If you're looking for a nude lip or a base shade, this is definitely worth testing out. This one: I'd recommend for autumn soft tones, it's an orange coral beige. It's even more flattering than the Tag Beige. Your face looks brighter, and while it's similar to the Tag Beige in that way, this one feels more harmonious overall. What I noticed: It has a matte finish, but the application is so smooth and effortless, like you're barely wearing anything.
