The gentle formula is nice because it doesn't have a strong scent, but honestly, the lack of fragrance makes it feel a bit plain. I wish there was just a hint of citrus to give it a little more character. I've gone through two full bottles, and I'm really impressed! The texture is substantial and bouncy, and even as I'm using the last bit, it never feels dry—it stays beautifully hydrating throughout. I have combination skin, and honestly, during summer I can get away with just using this as my exfoliating toner without any tightness. The moisture level is seriously incredible! I don't have major complaints, but because the hydration is so rich, anyone with very oily skin might find it a bit heavy during summer. When I apply it all the way down to my neck, it feels more like adding an extra layer of moisture rather than that refreshing sensation. I keep it in the refrigerator and use it after cleansing in the morning and evening. I've already gone through about half the container. I consistently use these toner pads because they feel so refreshing and cooling when stored in the fridge. I really appreciate the built-in tweezers that help me grip and position the pads securely. The container does a great job of keeping the essence from drying out. The size feels a bit small to me. I tried one and loved it so much that I sent it to my daughter to try too. It's great for so many uses - I use it for hydrating masks and removing makeup, so I'm getting even more value from it. I have combination skin and this really helped with my forehead breakouts. It's actually better than I expected! It's such an easy, no-fuss product to use regularly. My cheeks felt a bit stingy when I used it. I noticed some irritation there. I have oily skin with lots of small, stubborn breakouts, and this is my holy grail product—I always keep at least three backups on hand! I tried so many toner pads with ingredients that didn't work for my skin, but this one is amazing. It soothes and calms without any stinging or irritation. It absorbs beautifully and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and dewy. I'm especially in love with the scent! I don't experience any major issues while using it, but I do wish the surface texture were smoother. When I wipe it across my skin, there's a bit of friction that I'd prefer to avoid. Skin Type: Very dry and sensitive skin prone to eczema-like dryness, with my entire body being reactive. My hands and face experience similar trouble spots easily. Product Absorption (Moderate to High) I kept this in the refrigerator and used it for the cooling effect. Even after using it for quite a long time, I was impressed by how well the embossed pad held onto the toner! The toner amount isn't as generous as I expected, but the embossed pad definitely retained the product beautifully. I loved being able to place it on my face while blow-drying my hair, gently swipe it along my skin texture, and toss it—so convenient! Application (Moderate to Low) The embossed pad texture did feel a bit rough during application, I'll admit. That said, it worked decently as a sheet mask. While it might be pushing it to use as an exfoliating toner, the toner itself was nice enough that I kept using it consistently! The embossed pad's texture felt irritating to my sensitive skin. When I first used it as an exfoliating toner, beyond the expected exfoliation, I actually felt like my skin barrier was becoming compromised. While it does contain exfoliating ingredients, it turned out to be too much for my skin. I wish it had been gentler. It leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and gentle. Please don't discontinue this product! I wish there was more product in the bottle for the price. It feels like you're not getting great value for your money.
