Skin type: combination with oily areas, chin breakouts, concerned about oil and pores. Love it! The cleanser lathers beautifully and doesn't irritate my skin. 1. Incredibly hydrating = Even without applying toner and emulsion after cleansing, there's absolutely no tightness or dryness whatsoever. 2. Beautifully gentle = True to its name, it has a mild formula that feels so smooth and soft. When I dispense it into my palm, add just a tiny bit of water, mix it together, and massage it onto my face, I'd expect some irritation from the granules, but it's surprisingly gentle with zero irritation. The cleansing power is disappointing. While makeup does come off, it doesn't feel like it's being completely removed. After washing, I notice residue building up along the sides of my nose. It's so stubborn that I can literally scratch it off with my fingernail. That said, it works amazingly well for everyday cleansing when you're not wearing makeup.

Dead skin cells are gently removed without any irritation. Even though there are no scrub particles, it feels wonderfully smooth and clean. It doesn't have that squeaky-clean feeling. It feels more like a gentle, mild cleanser. This works great when you have flaky or textured skin. It's my absolute favorite cleanser. It works beautifully as a second cleanse after using a cleansing water first (I've seen reviews saying it's not strong enough, but I think it would be lacking as a primary cleanser). Since my skin is thick and gets flaky quickly from excess oil, I use this every evening. It exfoliates gently enough for daily use, so if you're looking for a mild cleansing powder, I think you'll be really happy with this one! If I really had to pick something, my skin feels slightly tight after cleansing, but honestly it's not a big deal for me. I find that using about the size of a dime works perfectly each time! When I want to exfoliate, I work up a good lather and let it sit on my skin for about a minute.
