This serum has a nice viscous texture. Even though it contains salicylic acid, it doesn't feel irritating at all. What I really love is that it's a gentle exfoliating product you can use just like a regular serum without needing to rinse it off. The stickiness is absolutely overwhelming when it absorbs... and the absorption itself is incredibly slow. After just one day of use, I noticed the flaking calmed down... You know how during dry weather, after showering, washing your face, and toweling off, those annoying flakes would appear? Well, I applied this morning and evening, and when I washed it off in the evening, the flaking was completely gone. I'm honestly amazed at how quickly it worked! I haven't found any downsides so far. The top has a typical pump dispenser, but when you twist it open, a tip comes out which is really clever! Since it contains a lot of niacinamide, the absorption is a bit slow and it leaves a sticky feeling. However, if you use it as the first step right after cleansing, the stickiness is much less noticeable. I'd recommend skipping the toner and starting with this serum instead. Pressing gently works better for absorption than tapping repeatedly. I apply this serum first, then follow with cream and toner pads. The tip makes it convenient to apply to the T-zone and pores. I was a bit worried about bacterial growth, but they say it's been tested. This product is really gentle on my skin and keeps it beautifully hydrated. I had some flaking around my chin area, but it's noticeably calmed down since I started using it. I also love that it comes with both a puff applicator and a tip applicator, making it super convenient to use. I don't really have any complaints. My T-zone was constantly getting oily, which led my skin to start flaking and feeling rough. Whenever I tried using exfoliating products, my skin would just turn red and feel irritated, so I've been hesitant to use them on my sensitive skin lately. If you're dealing with the same concerns, I really recommend this product—Needily Glow Peeling Serum! I'm not sure yet about the brightening results, but the hydration is fantastic! Unlike other serums, this one has a unique pump design with a sponge-tipped applicator. I loved being able to dispense it into my palm and smooth it across my entire face, but I noticed the best results when I used the sponge tip to apply a thicker layer directly on the areas around my nose where I had the most congestion and flaking. The targeted application really made a difference!
