Great for reducing facial redness and heat. The scent is fresh and pleasant too. I don't end up using this much because cleansing it off is really difficult. I used it all up and wanted to share my thoughts! Even though there are some grainy particles, I don't feel any irritation at all. The texture is actually really smooth and creamy - it applies beautifully without any stickiness or tugging. The soothing effect is definitely noticeable and works really well. I finished the whole thing right as fall arrived! I think this would be perfect to use after workouts, baths, or sauna sessions during fall and winter too. Just rinsing with water takes a bit longer to wash off than I expected. Since it's a rinse-off mask, I wouldn't count on major hydration benefits from it alone. You'll definitely want to follow up with additional moisturizing after cleansing. I was really surprised by the texture! It has this light, fluffy consistency that reminds me of mashed potatoes. I'm someone whose skin doesn't typically get along with wash-off masks. The scent is absolutely lovely, and the texture is so fluffy and crumbly—it honestly feels just like mashed potatoes! I kept it chilled in the refrigerator and when I applied it to my skin, it felt amazing—the heat and redness calmed down right away! I haven't really found any downsides yet. I tried this potato mask because I heard it was great for calming irritated skin, and I have to say it really works! It kept my skin nicely hydrated and felt wonderful to use. I loved that it wasn't greasy, so I found myself reaching for it even more often.
