I have dry skin, and since it contains oil, I'd definitely recommend it for others with dry skin types. If you have oily skin, though, I'd skip it since it might clog your pores. I always apply an extra layer before bed, and while my skin stays comfortable until I fall asleep, it does feel a bit dry when I wake up. But honestly, I think that's just how it goes with most products. The best part? No flaking or itching at all. It really does help with that deep-down dryness. The product felt a bit greasy on the surface. It's supposed to brighten and reduce wrinkles, but I didn't really notice those effects. I think it would work great for combination or oily skin types during winter too. I absolutely loved that the packaging is made of glass instead of plastic—it feels so premium and thoughtful. This absorbs incredibly well! I'm seriously using every last bit. It has the perfect balance of hydration and nourishment that blends beautifully into the skin. Honestly, there's not much to complain about. That said, don't expect this to deliver intense moisture on its own—it's just not that heavy-duty when it comes to hydration.

I use oil during every season except summer, and I once had a really bad experience in spring when the weather was getting warmer. I used an oil that was too heavy, and my skin completely rebelled against it. Even though my skin is dry, overly oily products feel heavy and suffocating on my skin, so they're just not comfortable for me. But this Neogen White Truffle Oil in Serum is different. It's one of the lighter oils out there, and because of that, it doesn't feel heavy or congested at all when I apply it. Instead, my skin feels more hydrated and has this beautiful luminous glow. Other oil products leave residue on my hands and feel sticky and uncomfortable, but this one has such a clean, fresh finish with no tackiness. I think I've found my holy grail product! The pump is a bit stiff, so every time I pump it, the oil shoots out suddenly. Love this mist as a serum alternative! I use this mist and it doesn't feel dry like when I use a serum, which is amazing! The skin feels so smooth and refined after using it. I bought this because I tried it at a store for a bit, and the next day the area where I sprayed it was still incredibly silky and smooth! That's why I had to get it! The mist sprays so gently and evenly. Usually with mist products, if they don't have a fine mist nozzle, they spray unevenly all over your face in blotchy patches. But even though this one has a pump dispenser, it distributes so uniformly and beautifully! The longer you use it, the drier it gets after spraying. This product has two layers - oil and water - so you need to shake it before each use. But I'm on my third bottle now, and by the time I get to the end, there's barely any oil layer left and only the water layer remains at the bottom. Even when I shake it, I still feel that tight, dry feeling. I keep this in my bathroom and after cleansing, I give it a quick spray before applying my toner. Skin Type: Atopic, severely dry in winter, sensitive, occasional breakouts Triggers Breakouts: No Texture: I thought it would be oily since it's an oil drop formula, but it's actually nothing like that. It feels more like water and has a lightweight, flowing consistency. Check the photos for reference. Size: It fits in the palm of your hand, so it's smaller than expected. Plus, I notice it depletes pretty quickly with each use. For the amount you get, it feels a bit pricey. Absorption: Absorption is decent, but if you use too much, it sits on top of the skin. Hydration: Not really impressive. Using it alone doesn't solve my dry skin issues. Final Thoughts: I bought this because it was recommended at the store for dry skin, but honestly, I didn't notice any major benefits. That said, it didn't cause any problems either. It's just... okay. My skin never got irritated or broke out, but I also didn't feel like my skin became more hydrated, my skin barrier improved, or my skin condition actually got better. I've been using this for several years now. I have extremely dry skin, and after applying toner and oil serum, I finish with this cream. When I apply it, it truly feels like it perfectly addresses my dehydration. My skin feels instantly soothed and the moisture is replenished. Even though it's an oil serum, it doesn't feel oily at all. It has a lightweight texture that absorbs beautifully into the skin with absolutely no stickiness, so I think it would be wonderful for oily skin types too. My skin is super sensitive - if anything is even slightly off or doesn't agree with me, I react within hours. I'm basically a skincare nomad trying everything, but this product causes zero irritation and is truly a lifesaver for me. The scent is almost undetectable, so I don't have to worry about fragrance at all. The size is on the smaller side, but this is one of those products I absolutely cannot live without. As long as it stays in production, I'll be using it forever. For addressing dehydration, this oil serum is hands down the best. It's a shame it's not more famous considering how effective it is. I'm not exaggerating - I've gone through over 10 bottles and counting. The amount you get for the price feels really small. If there's no sale, it's quite expensive. I only buy it when there's a discount at the store. The formula is thin, so it runs out quickly and honestly, the price makes it hard to keep repurchasing regularly. Wait, why is this even in the oil category? Haha! Honestly, it's just a heavy serum to me. But here's the thing—it actually works great. Even though it contains oil, it doesn't feel greasy when you apply it. That's the perfect balance I'm looking for. Plus, it seems to deliver decent hydration and moisture too. If I just use straight oil, my face feels tight, but this doesn't do that at all. I'm not sure what else to complain about, to be honest. The only real downside is that it might feel a bit heavy for oily skin types during summer. But since I have combination skin, I can't really call that a flaw—this is going to be my go-to product from fall right through spring.
