I'd recommend applying an oil or fragrance-free moisturizer first, then layering this lightly on top. If you're someone who feels dry no matter how much you apply during winter, you have to try this! I've been using only this for years now, and my whole family is absolutely loving it! Despite how intensely moisturizing it is, it doesn't feel heavy or sticky at all, and it spreads so smoothly on the skin. It's just your standard emulsion, nothing special. I'm on my second tube of this and I absolutely love it. The cream formula is so moisturizing and it has a lovely scent that really lingers in the best way. Plus, it absorbs quickly, so there's no sticky feeling after application—it feels comfortable on my skin right away. This is truly a holy grail product! No matter how much you apply, it never feels sticky and it's incredibly hydrating. Seriously, you have to try this. Highly recommend, highly recommend, highly recommend! I wouldn't exactly call this a drawback, but fair warning: if you apply the emulsion and then blow dry your hair, your hair will stick to your face. Just something to keep in mind. When you apply two layers, your skin feels perfectly moisturized and dewy.

The formula feels light, but it still leaves my skin feeling nicely moisturized. Honestly, I haven't found any downsides so far! It's just so easy to use and works great.
