I really love this product! I used to only use foam, but it would always trigger folliculitis or breakouts, which made shaving a few days later uncomfortable and frustrating. What I appreciate most is that this doesn't cause those irritating bumps and blemishes to flare up! Since it's a gel formula, you get a generous amount. It feels wonderful applying it because it's so smooth and glides on effortlessly. Being a gel formula, it leaves a slightly sticky feeling. Since I have thick facial hair that's difficult to remove right down to the roots, I prefer gel-type products over foam. It requires extra effort, but I always soak my beard with a warm steam towel before shaving and sanitize my razor in hot water too. This really helps minimize skin irritation and makes the shaving process much gentler. Our skin deserves that care! If you don't shake the product thoroughly before pumping or if you keep it refrigerated, the formula can come out too quickly in a big glob, which makes it tricky to control the amount. You really need to press gently when dispensing. On days when the gel doesn't spread as smoothly as I'd like, I mix it with a cream-based foam and apply it together. I use this for removing leg hair and I'm really happy with how well the foam lathers up. Best part is it doesn't irritate my skin at all The scent is way too strong and smells like my dad's cologne, which is a total turn-off. I find gel formulas so much more satisfying to use compared to foams - they really deliver better results. I'd definitely recommend trying one! I really love that it has a gel texture with that satisfying, bouncy feel. It looks so much better than traditional shaving foam, which is definitely a plus for me. I do wish it had that thick, creamy richness that classic shaving foam gives you. The scent is refreshing and it applies beautifully. The amount you get is really generous too. I also appreciate how hygienic the cap design is. This product creates a rich, luxurious lather and really helps minimize irritation during shaving. I'm really happy with it! I can't really think of any downsides to this product. It's great!
