I have really dry skin underneath, but after using this, that deep dryness is totally gone. I apply it before makeup and it doesn't pill or shift during the day. I'm honestly so satisfied with this as a base product. Since the product has an essence-like formula, it's a bit sticky. I think it would be easier to use cleanly if the opening had a pump or applicator instead of the current design. I use this in the essence step with my device machine after cleansing in the morning. When I mix it with a lighter essence, it feels so hydrating and really helps with my dry skin underneath. I really hate when products take forever to absorb and leave my face feeling sticky, but thankfully this one doesn't do that at all. Since the absorption is solid, I'm experiencing less dryness underneath too. The amount is super easy to control! Like I mentioned, even though it's a toner, it's not watery, so you can use exactly as much as you need. For people like me who don't usually measure out their toner and just slap it on, having this kind of control is actually really important (you'll see why in the downsides). While it's supposedly less irritating than traditional menthol products, the fact that menthol is still in there means people who casually splash this toner on without thinking might find it pretty stimulating. Also, I just realized that every time I apply this toner, a little bit gets in my eyes. It might feel too cooling during the fall and winter months.
