Before using this product, I neglected my winter moisturizing routine and developed some itchiness and redness around my cheeks. I went through almost an entire bottle over the winter months and continued using it through spring. This product outperforms the brand's famous multi-oil. I'd definitely repurchase if I get the chance. The ingredients are outstanding. What I consistently noticed when using essences with high levels of ascorbyl glucoside is how incredibly smoothly they glide onto the skin. I love that this vitamin C derivative is so safe that I can apply it morning and night without worry. It pairs beautifully with gentle emulsions, so it doesn't pill and I can use it frequently without any irritation. For those concerned about inner dryness, I'd recommend layering it with hydrating creams and emulsions for best results. I experienced zero breakouts while using this, which was wonderful. Even during a period when my sensitive skin's barrier temporarily weakened and was recovering, there was no stinging or discomfort. The pros are pros, and the cons are cons. It comes in a dropper bottle, but it dispenses very little product each time, so you need multiple attempts to get enough. While it's economical to use, by the time I was finishing the bottle, the dropper wasn't dispensing the essence well anymore, so I started adding toner to make it work. When using essences and serums, you really need to be generous with the amount to see results.
