I'm really happy with this glossy version! It clings to my lips so much less compared to the original formula. The staying power definitely isn't as long-lasting, which is disappointing. I've been using this product for years now. I can use it generously at night, and since it has color, it's perfect for someone like me who naturally has pale lips. My lips tend to get really dry and crack easily, but I've had zero chipped or flaky lips for years now. Honestly, it's a game-changer! Other than the price, I really can't complain. I love that it's made with natural ingredients. When you look at the lip product, it's actually a really bold red—or more of a burgundy shade, you know? But when you apply it, the color doesn't come out nearly as intense. Plus, it's incredibly moisturizing, which I'm really happy about! The color doesn't apply smoothly and evenly on the lips—it goes on kind of patchy, if that makes sense. Honestly, I don't think the bold color payoff was even necessary for this product.

My lips don't feel dry or uncomfortable at all. Once I switched back to a regular lipstick, I really noticed the difference - my lips felt so uncomfortable. This has become my go-to lip product and I'm honestly so satisfied with it! I really can't think of any major downsides! The only thing is that it doesn't last quite as long as a traditional lipstick, but that's honestly not a big deal since I can just reapply it whenever I need to. Overall, I'm really happy with this product!
