My skin feels so smooth and soft now, and it looks like it's really improving! I use a shower cloth to exfoliate my entire body, then I let it sit for a bit so the BHA can really do its thing. Since it's only 2% BHA, I have to order it from iHerb internationally, and it's pretty pricey. Plus, you can't use it every single day.

Even after just one use, I noticed the next morning that stubborn pimples had noticeably reduced. According to the pharmacist, it contains 2% Salicylic Acid (BHA), which works by clearing away dead skin cells on the surface. That said, using it daily seems too harsh for regular use. Great value for money There are tons of acne products out there, but finding one that actually delivers results for under $10 is rare. I'm really happy with this purchase. "The irritation is unavoidable" Actually triggered more breakouts While using this, I realized that if you overdo it and use it every day, the irritation is really intense. In my case, it seemed to compromise my skin barrier, and I ended up with several painful cystic pimples. Combined with the dryness and the damage it caused, I honestly couldn't use it daily. I'd suggest using this as an emergency spot treatment only when you really need it. After using it, make sure to follow up with a thorough skincare routine to soothe the irritated skin! My absolute favorite cleanser for life! I've been using this product daily for years now, and honestly, I can't imagine my skincare routine without it. My acne-prone skin was a total nightmare before this—nothing else worked, and other products actually made things worse. This oil-free acne cleanser is truly one of a kind and has been my saving grace. My skin went from being completely troubled to clear and smooth. It's completely transformed my complexion. It's hard to find domestic shipping options, and since it ships internationally, it takes a while to arrive. When my skin went through a major breakout, I checked the salicylic acid percentage and decided to buy this. iHerb carries both this version and the original, but since I'm not a fan of the original's scent, I stick with this one. The inconvenience of having to order through iHerb... This cleanser creates a rich, luxurious lather that really works! I've noticed a significant improvement in my skin troubles since using it. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant - much better than I expected. This is way too harsh for daily use. I didn't realize how strong it was at first and kept using it anyway. My hands ended up completely irritated with peeling skin - it was a real mess.

The original formula keeps selling out on iHerb, so I grabbed the pink grapefruit version this time (someone else cancelled their order, so I lucked out!). The scent is a bit different, but I'm really happy with it. There aren't many gentle cleansers available domestically, but effective options for problem skin are becoming harder to find. It's gotten to the point where people are literally buying acne cleansers from dermatologists. This one cleanses thoroughly and is definitely a game-changer if you need to control excess oil and actively treat breakouts. The main challenge is that you have to order it internationally. I understand why, given the salicylic acid content, but it's still inconvenient. I don't use this every day—mainly during oily seasons like summer when breakouts are flaring up. On really bad days, I'll use a gentler salicylic acid cleanser in the morning and this one at night. I adjust my routine based on how much my skin improves, sometimes using it every other day or every few days. It's basically my emergency cleanser. That said, it can cause irritation if overused, so on days I use this, I keep my skincare routine gentle with soothing and hydrating products. I make sure not to layer salicylic acid in my other products—I either skip it or swap my routine around. On really severe days, I'll spot-treat with an over-the-counter salicylic acid product (2% strength from the pharmacy) if needed. I'd recommend this if you urgently need to control excess oil and you're in active treatment mode for breakouts, not just basic oil management.
