If you have oily skin, this can feel heavy with excess oil throughout the year except winter. It might work okay for combination skin, but if you're oily, I'd recommend saving this one just for the winter months. I've been using this cream for years and I absolutely love it. It's not sticky at all, and it really does a great job of calming and soothing my skin. There's nothing really to complain about, but since this is an oil-based cream, I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin types.

Once fully applied, there's no sticky residue, making it perfect for summer use. Unfortunately, it didn't work well for my skin. I experienced some stinging sensations when applying it. My skin was feeling sensitive, so I was looking for a soothing product. I found this on sale during the reconciliation week event and grabbed it at a great price. The fragrance, spreadability, and absorption are all fantastic! The size is just right for carrying around, and my skin calmed down so quickly. I'm definitely planning to keep using this regularly. The scent is refreshingly citrusy, almost vitamin-like, rather than just tea tree. I've tried Nightingale's vitamin line before in both gel-cream and emulsion formulas, but this one has a bit more richness to it. So it's not super lightweight—it's actually wonderful for serious hydration. As for calming benefits? I'm honestly not sure I noticed much difference. It works fine as a basic moisturizing cream, nothing more. And yes, it does have that slightly oily feel to it. I was looking for a rich, substantial cream with just a touch of oil rather than something overly hydrating, and I heard this one was pretty good, so I decided to try it. I'm not sure how well it works for blemish-prone skin, but I really appreciated the balanced oil content that doesn't leave a greasy shine and the nice level of hydration it provides. Since my skin isn't dry, I found this level of hydration and oil content to be just right for me. I've been getting great results with Nightingale products whenever my skin feels reactive and irritated. What I love most is that they use gentle ingredients combined with soothing powerhouses like cica that really help calm things down! I haven't found any real drawbacks so far, but I'm planning to give it a full month of consistent use and then share an updated review with you!

I really appreciated that this product comes in a squeeze tube, which feels more hygienic. It also gives my skin a nice calming sensation. Since I have oily skin, I found this formula a bit too heavy for my complexion. I think it would work better for people with dry skin. That said, the price point feels a little steep for the amount of product you get.
