The hold is absolutely incredible! True to its hard wax formula, once you style your hair, it stays perfectly in place all day long without budging. Even when the wind picks up, it doesn't move at all—I absolutely loved that! The matte finish is fantastic! Without any shine or greasiness, it gives you a clean, matte look that's perfect for creating natural-looking styles. I was really happy that it doesn't look oily. The application is smooth too! Even though it's a hard wax, it's not too dense and melts nicely in your palms, making it super easy to distribute evenly throughout your hair. The cleansing could be better. Since it's a hard wax, sometimes one shampoo doesn't completely wash it out. It feels like you need to shampoo twice to get it completely clean. Beginners might find it tricky to control the amount. Because the hold is so strong even with a tiny bit, if you get a little too generous with application, your hair can get clumpy or matted.
