My body tends to be much drier than my face, so I'm someone who absolutely needs a body emulsion every single day of the year, even in the middle of summer. My skin doesn't crack, but without my body emulsion, I get white flaking and my skin feels tight. Plus, when my skin is dry, the texture on my calves becomes more pronounced, almost like keratosis pilaris, so I always apply a generous amount of body emulsion right after showering. Since I have dry skin, I mainly use products with strong moisturizing power. This cica-ceramide body emulsion works really well for me, and I've been using it consistently for about a year now. Texture: 5 out of 5 stars It's an emulsion with just the right amount of thickness. Since it's a moisturizing product, it doesn't spread like water, but it's not heavy or sticky either, so it's easy to apply. It feels like applying a regular body emulsion. Fragrance: 5 out of 5 stars It has a powdery floral scent that feels soft and delicate. The fragrance is really nice! I prefer subtle scents over strong, heavy ones, and this one is perfect for my taste. I especially love how it leaves a gentle, fabric-softener-like residual scent on my skin after it's fully absorbed. Moisturizing Power: 3 out of 5 stars Compared to regular body emulsions, this one does have better moisturizing power, but it's not intensely hydrating. For someone with dry skin like me, spring and fall seem like the most suitable seasons. After using it through all four seasons, I found it felt a bit heavy in summer and lighter in winter. (People with very dry skin might still feel some dryness even in fall.) In winter, applying an extra layer to dry areas gave me better hydration. Absorption & Stickiness: 5 out of 5 stars It has some oil content, but the absorption is better than expected. It sinks into the skin nicely without feeling greasy. As for stickiness, it's just the normal level you'd expect from a body emulsion. But since it absorbs well, it quickly becomes soft and smooth. I don't really have any complaints about it. Sensitive, dry, allergy-prone skin with reactive tendencies. My skin tends to be dry, so I always apply body emulsion right after showering. I happened to spot this at the store and the barrier-moisturizing formula looked promising, so I grabbed it. It's an emulsion type, but it feels lighter than I expected with less of that heavy texture. Personally, I'm really drawn to the subtle floral scent it has. Honestly, there's not much to complain about. I took a chance buying this since it's labeled for very dry skin, and I'm so glad I did. It's surprisingly lightweight and doesn't feel heavy at all. After applying it, there's no sticky residue, and I wore it comfortably even during the hottest summer days. The lightweight formula is both a strength and a weakness. Since I hadn't used a body emulsion in a few months before trying this, my skin was quite parched. I've been struggling with itchy, dry, and flaky skin for years. My legs wouldn't improve even after visiting dermatologists, but this emulsion worked like magic! I'm so thrilled with the results that I highly recommend it. I don't have any real complaints myself, but I can imagine some people might not love the scent of the butterfly pea flower extract. This emulsion is absolutely wonderful for dry legs.
