It has this weird texture that feels like oil but also like water, which is kind of funny! It's perfect for using lightly during summer. If I had to pick out the best things about it, I'd say it's amazing that you can use it not just on your body but on your face too. And if you love a finish that doesn't feel sticky or tacky, I'd definitely recommend it. When you apply it, it feels a bit slippery and kind of sits on top of your skin without really sinking in. Honestly, it literally feels like a serum for your face, just like the name suggests. I wouldn't really want to spend money on it again. I'd been searching for a body essence, but I was hesitant to try Skinfood's version because people said it was too oily. Then I won this product in an event! Here's my verdict: This is so convenient to use all over my body during summer. While I still get the occasional bump on my arms, it's much easier to manage than using an emulsion, and even when I apply it generously, there are no major issues. Looking at the photos, you can see how much the marks have faded and the excess sebum is barely visible anymore! Once I stopped using emulsion and found an alternative moisturizer, my skin troubles decreased significantly. Plus, the effects from the ointment I've been using are finally becoming noticeable! Texture: It feels like a lightweight serum! The hydration level is just right, and I'm also using it on my feet and hands. Absorption: It absorbs quickly into my skin with absolutely no sticky residue. Even though my skin is dry, I don't experience the intense flaking that people with extremely dry skin complain about. Now my routine is: body mist plus body serum in the morning, and I add targeted oil application in the evening.
