I already own several Opera lip products, so I'm familiar with the formula and really love it. Since it applies sheer, you can build the color intensity with each layer, which is exactly why I grabbed this one. A single swipe gives you that lovely brick-red vibe that's perfect for everyday wear. Add a few more layers and it deepens beautifully. The best part is that it has this transparent quality to it, so even when you layer it on, it never feels heavy or sticky. This shade works best for warm undertones or light undertones. The photo shows about two layers of application, and I applied it straight to my bare lips without any other lip product or applicator. It glides on so smoothly with that silky, oil-infused texture that you can easily reapply it throughout the day without a lip balm. You don't even need a lip brush to carefully define your lip line. It's the kind of lip color you can toss in your bag pocket or purse and touch up whenever you want, and it always looks beautiful. I'm absolutely obsessed with how smooth it feels and that perfect amount of shine! The packaging is identical across all shades, so you have to check the sticker on the bottom to tell them apart. The problem is the text is way too small and it's labeled in Japanese, which makes it really frustrating to distinguish between multiple products.
