After I wash with this, I immediately feel like I'm getting hit with a blast of cool air conditioning on my skin. The bottle is generously sized too, so it's absolutely perfect for summer use. If I had to pick one downside, the scent really does feel like washing your body with peppermint candy or toothpaste. The menthol is really strong - it gives you that intense cooling sensation like a mint candy! You can definitely feel how powerful it is when the shower foam touches your skin. Even after you shower, that refreshing coolness lingers on. It has a lightweight, fluid gel texture that feels luxurious. Plus, you get a generous amount for such an affordable price, and the formula is packed with great ingredients too. The menthol cooling effect doesn't last very long. One pump seems like a lot, so I tried using half a pump instead, but the lather disappeared quickly and it felt like it got absorbed into my skin right away.

While I don't really feel the dramatic temperature-cooling effect that the ads promise, the minty scent is nice and that refreshing, tingly mint sensation definitely gives you a cooling feeling. Since this is a body wash, I found it works better to skip it on sensitive areas because the minty tingle feels too intense there. Given the drawbacks I mentioned, I'd recommend either alternating between two different body washes depending on the area, or using this alongside a gentle cleanser for those more delicate zones.

Plus, the generous size means I can use it freely without worrying about running out. It does tend to dry out my skin, which seems unavoidable.
