I absolutely love this emulsion - it's seriously my holy grail product! My sister actually brought it home from a dermatology appointment, and I secretly tried it once and was blown away by how amazing it is! The price point is a bit steep, so I sneakily grabbed three bottles when my sister was ordering. It works so perfectly for my skin! It does have a slightly oily feel to it, which is a bummer. I loved this product in every single way - the application was smooth, it absorbed beautifully, felt incredibly moisturizing, smelled amazing, and there wasn't a hint of stickiness. This product really won me over on the Origins brand, but I do wish the price point was a bit more affordable. I picked this up during a sale and I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it applies I'm already using Origins because the ingredients are excellent, so I don't have any complaints

At first, I wondered if the doctor was just pushing products from their clinic, but it actually made sense. My skin used to get really oily during summer, but after dermatological treatments, it became progressively drier. I found that applying a lighter emulsion 2-3 times worked surprisingly well for me. Now that my breakouts have improved, I only switch to an emulsion instead of cream on hotter days. I actually picked up this product on impulse at Olive Young because they were running a buy-one-get-one promotion. I've only tried Clinique emulsions from department store brands before, but Origins impressed me more with its hydration and spreadability. The formula itself is a straightforward white emulsion with nothing fancy about it, but I loved how smoothly it glides on, absorbs completely, and leaves skin feeling silky and dewy without any stickiness. Even when I layer it multiple times, it absorbs seamlessly without sitting on the surface, so it works perfectly as a prep step before makeup. I've only tried Origins' Mega Mushroom line for their basics, but the fragrance seems really overpowering across the entire range. Whether it's herbal or botanical notes, the scent is quite strong and lingers for a long time, so you keep smelling it throughout the day. Also, they designed it with a twist-open mechanism without a traditional cap, which is supposed to be convenient, but the opening edge isn't smooth. Every time I dispense the product, it catches on my hand, which feels uncomfortable and inconvenient.

I love using this instead of a heavier cream during summer mornings—it's been a game-changer for me. I don't usually reach for emulsions, so during dry seasons I worry it might feel like a hassle to layer this with a cream on top.
