This was my holy grail product and I'm really disappointed it's been discontinued. I loved how well it controlled oil and minimized my pores. I do feel some irritation from time to time. That said, it's just a temporary tingle and doesn't feel harsh or burdensome on my skin. I've figured out that stearic acid doesn't work for my skin, but interestingly, shea butter, which is similar, doesn't cause any issues. If you're like me and can't tolerate acid-based ingredients, or if you have dry skin but worry about excess oil because of congestion problems, I'd suggest trying this! There's a slight tingling sensation right after application, but after a bit, your face feels pleasantly warm.
