I have really dry skin, so I usually avoid gel creams, but this one is clearly different from those cheap gel creams. You can really tell it's from a quality brand that's worth the investment. As for the ingredients, it's from Paula's Choice, so I trust the formula completely. I haven't experienced any breakouts or problem areas, and honestly, I can't think of any downsides so far.
