This toner is famous for controlling excess oil and shine. I mainly use it when my skin feels particularly oily and sebum production is high. Note: I have to mention that when I first started using it, there was a slight stinging sensation! That's completely gone now, but it can happen at first, so those with sensitive skin should be aware. After just a couple of applications, your skin adapts quickly. Formula and feel: The formula is hydrating with absolutely no stickiness, and it absorbs beautifully into the skin! The texture feels amazing and refreshing! It leaves my skin feeling dewy and moisturized, then dries down quickly without any tacky residue. As someone who absolutely cannot stand heavy, sticky toners, I was really satisfied with this one. I've heard this toner does a great job balancing oil and water levels on the skin. While it didn't completely eliminate excess oil overnight, I definitely notice less shine throughout the day. The application experience is really pleasant. It does contain soothing ingredients for troubled skin, so there's a slight warming sensation if you have acne-prone skin, but that settles down as you keep using it. Final thoughts: My excess oil production has definitely decreased, and even during the dry fall and winter months, as long as I follow up with a hydrating serum or moisturizer, I don't experience that tight, parched feeling. I'd recommend this for anyone with oily, acne-prone skin! Just make sure to apply your hydrating products right after the toner absorbs. If you only use the toner and go about your day, your face can feel uncomfortably tight and your skin texture can suffer. If you're looking for a toner that delivers hydration and moisture, I wouldn't recommend this one. If you're going to use this toner, make sure you follow up with proper hydration! First off, it's so hydrating that it really replenishes moisture, and since I have combination skin that tends to get oily, I love that this toner helps control excess oil. It's a product I trust and use regularly. Everything about it is great, but I found the packaging a bit inconvenient since you have to pour the product into your palm to use it. Here's a tip that totally changed the game for me: I picked up a spray mist bottle from the dollar store, swapped out the nozzle, and now I can just spritz it on instead of pouring it into my hand. It completely solved the inconvenience I was experiencing.
