It applies so smoothly without that typical greasy sunscreen feel. The formula feels hydrating and nourishing, and I'm really satisfied with the ingredient quality at this price point. The size is quite small for the price, which feels expensive. It's definitely a summer essential though.

I really wish Korean cosmetics brands would release more basic lip balm sunscreens like this. Most of them have disappointingly low SPF ratings. I'm honestly frustrated because I'd love to use Korean brands, but they just don't seem to prioritize this.

On top of that, since I'd be applying it to my lips frequently, I needed to check the ingredients too. This was the product I finally found at Hwahe. It's a standard lip balm size and unscented. Even though it offers sun protection, it doesn't feel dry or tight. The application is smooth, my lips feel hydrated without any irritation, and I've been using it regularly. While it's SPF 50+, I don't expect that level of protection from a lip balm application. I started using it during the intense summer heat, and fortunately my wound healed well, so there haven't been any issues. I can't find it anywhere in physical stores. (If anyone knows where to get it, please let me know....) After searching everywhere, I think I ended up buying it from Paula's Choice's official website. It's more expensive than typical lip balms, so every time I use it, I feel a bit of sticker shock. It seems to wear down faster than expected! I'm really sensitive to fragrance, and since I apply this right under my nose on my lips, I can't use anything with even a hint of artificial scent. What I absolutely love most is that this is truly fragrance-free. I apply it once after washing my face and before doing my makeup, then put on my lipstick, and the moisture lasts incredibly long—I'm really impressed with that. When I first bought it, I worried the lip balm cap might be too flexible and thin to hold up well, but it's actually really sturdy and feels wonderful when I open and close it. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination or if it's the sun protection doing its thing, but the longer I use it, the more my natural lip color seems to come back to life and look healthier. I'm on my third repurchase now and couldn't be happier with it. Honestly, there's really nothing to complain about. If I really had to nitpick, I guess the only thing is that the lettering on the case fades a bit with regular use. My lips used to get so parched and flaky when I applied Stila's liquid tint because my skin is naturally dry. It was honestly terrible - my lips would completely dry out and crack. But this product? It's a total game-changer! My lips stay comfortable and hydrated, plus it has SPF protection too! Since it's a stick formula, it does get a bit messy when you use it after other lip color products. And I have to say, it runs out pretty quickly for the price point. But honestly, I'll keep repurchasing it anyway! Next time I think I'll try pairing it with their lip gloss too. The stick format makes it so convenient to use. I'm really happy with how moisturizing it is—it keeps my skin feeling hydrated throughout the day. What I love most is that it has built-in sun protection, which is honestly a game-changer. The price is a bit steep, but honestly, if it weren't for that, I'd be completely satisfied with this product.
