I've been using this for about three months now. Since I have chapped lips, I always apply lip balm as part of my daily routine. Whenever I notice the early signs of chapped lips (itching around the lip line and flaking), I apply a thin layer of this product before bed and let it work its magic. Chapped lips affect everyone differently, but in my case, they're triggered by cosmetic sensitivities and environmental irritants. When this happens, I've found that intense hydration is key to calming things down (the itching gradually decreases). I only use this product when I have chapped lip symptoms, and after consistently using it for about three days, the redness around my lip line noticeably fades. It's really effective! I'm always concerned about hygiene. The product came with a small spatula, but it disappeared after a trip, so now I'm using cotton swabs instead. Even when I had the spatula, I'd take out a small amount and when applying it to my lips, the spatula would sometimes touch my lip surface. I worry that bacteria from chapped lips might contaminate the container before use, so I'm being extra careful. While the compact size is convenient for travel, I can't help but feel it's a trade-off. The smaller container, though portable, makes it harder to maintain proper hygiene standards. If your chapped lips are caused by flaking, gently rinse your lips with warm water and carefully remove the flakes (never force them off). Then apply a thin layer of this product across your entire lip area. You'll be amazed to see the flaking visibly improve by the next day.

I used to wake up every morning with flaky lips and didn't know how to fix it, but now I just apply a thin layer of lip mask before bed and my lips feel incredibly soft the next day! I think it would be more convenient if the product had a twist-up applicator on the back instead. You only need a tiny amount and it works great both before and after makeup application.

I have no idea why I thought this was from Lanege! Let me correct that with the right product information. 1. Application: It's incredibly sticky and doesn't spread smoothly at all. I never realized applying a balm could be this challenging... 2. Stickiness: Honestly, this and the Ryan lip balm I bought later are tied for the stickiest products ever. It's so pretty! The pink case is absolutely adorable, and it looks gorgeous on display. 1) It's quite heavy, which makes it inconvenient to carry around. I'm not sure if it's the glass or the case itself, but it definitely has some weight to it. While it's a beautiful lip balm, it's really more of a product I keep at home for myself to enjoy. 2) Since it has a slightly greasy feel, I tend to apply it before bed at night. But honestly, it's not necessarily better than other options out there. It doesn't quite fit the night lip mask category since it applies a bit too smoothly, yet it's too emollient to work as a daytime lip mask. I have sensitive lips that tend to get flaky, but this product is amazing! It calms down the dryness, keeps my lips feeling moisturized, and works really well for me. My lips are chronically dry no matter the season, so I've tried countless products that promised miracles. But I've finally found my holy grail! I apply just a tiny amount during the day, and at night before bed, I slather it on generously, and the results are amazing! My lips used to be so parched that I could barely wear lipstick, but thanks to this product, I'm actually able to wear it now and feel confident throughout the day. Honestly, I haven't found any downsides so far. But then again, skincare really does come down to what works for your individual skin type.

This is incredibly moisturizing and smells amazing. The moment I applied it, I could tell my lips would stay perfectly hydrated without any flaking or cracking. I wish I had discovered this product earlier in the winter season instead of right at the end. I could have used it so much more.
