The formula feels really gentle on my skin. I also love that the size is compact and convenient. I'm definitely going to keep using this. It works beautifully under BB cream or powder foundation without sliding around. The shimmer comes from pearl particles, so when I swatch it on my arm, it looks quite sparkly and shiny. Before trying this, I went through multiple tubes of La Roche-Posay's tone-up sunscreen, but my skin got really dry during winter. I stumbled upon an Instagram ad and decided to give it a shot, and I'm genuinely thrilled! I absolutely love products that deliver that dewy, moisturized skin look, and this one totally delivers. If you're expecting a tone-up effect, you might want to look elsewhere! Even though the product name says 'tone-up,' it honestly doesn't deliver on that promise at all. It barely gives you a slight improvement in skin tone, if anything. Since the formula is basically the same as a hydrating moisturizer, achieving any real tone-up effect seems impossible with this one. Because this product is so hydrating, if you apply makeup right after putting it on, everything tends to shift and slide around. If you're looking for a natural sunscreen, I highly recommend this one. The formula has an ampoule-like beige texture that applies smoothly like a serum and feels incredibly hydrating. It's perfect for dry skin types. What I love most is how natural and moisturizing it feels. The sunscreen does contain subtle shimmer particles, but they're barely noticeable on the skin. It doesn't provide any brightening effect, and it's a completely mineral sunscreen formula. Even though it's mineral-based, it's gentle enough that I'm using it without any issues. When I apply sunscreen, I use a two-step approach. After completing my skincare routine, I first apply a hydrating, non-whitening mineral sunscreen without any cast (this is the product I use). Once it absorbs, I layer an inorganic mineral sunscreen on top to brighten my complexion. This method actually extends the sun protection duration!
