Cleansing balms typically cost over 30,000 won for 200ml these days, but this large-size version is only 5,000 won, which is incredibly affordable. I've been using it throughout winter, and it manages moisture and oil balance better than other oil cleansers. Makeup removes easily, but it doesn't rinse away well with water afterward. So I'd recommend using just a small amount to dissolve your makeup, then wiping it off with a tissue or cotton pad before rinsing with lukewarm water. If you use too much, makeup like mascara comes off well, but the creamy residue won't wash away with water. You really need to use just a tiny amount so your makeup rinses cleanly with water too. If you're short on time, I'd suggest sticking with an oil cleanser instead. Since you need to spend three times longer rinsing away the dissolved makeup with water, the cleansing process feels longer and more tedious overall. That said, after removing makeup in winter, my skin feels beautifully soft and refreshed. The moisture and oil balance seems to stay really well-maintained. It doesn't rinse away well with water. Compared to oil cleansers, you need an extra five minutes of rinsing before it finally comes off. The price was really affordable. It's a cream that transforms into an oil-like texture when you massage it into your skin. After using it just once or twice, my face felt irritated and my skin completely reacted badly to it.

You need to dampen it thoroughly with warm water before wiping. When I first tried it in Canada, I couldn't get it off with just water and regular cleansing foam didn't work well either. So I checked the website and found out you're supposed to use a microfiber cloth to remove it! After that, I loved using it! Apply it evenly with gentle massage motions, then dampen the cloth with warm water and wipe it away. During the dry winter months, my skin feels incredibly soft and refreshed! If you don't learn the proper application method, it won't come off cleanly and you'll wonder what this product even is! I wouldn't recommend it for summer at all, and the wiping method with cloth can be too harsh for sensitive skin types. It's also not ideal for oily skin! Honestly, I can't really point to any standout benefits. I guess just the time I spend on my skin routine? It's way too heavy and greasy for my skin. I have oily, dehydrated skin, and I didn't notice any real hydration or feel like the cleansing was effective afterward. To make matters worse, I broke out around my nose and under my lips. This formula is so gentle on my sensitive eyes - no stinging at all. I love how it effortlessly lifts away all my eye makeup, even stubborn mascara, without any harsh tugging or pulling. My skin feels beautifully smooth and soft afterward. I need to follow up with a second cleanser to really feel like my skin is refreshed. It feels more like a makeup remover and moisturizer combo rather than an actual cleanser.

I didn't feel like this was actually cleansing my skin effectively. Despite the claim that it won't clog pores, I discovered it contains pore-clogging ingredients, which explains why I experienced significant breakouts on my face, particularly on my forehead. Use this as an oil-based cleanser, then follow up with a cleanser that contains AHA or BHA.
