The areas where I apply it do look a bit brighter, which is nice in a natural way. But if you're looking for foundation-level coverage, I'd skip this one. 3. Texture and feel - For me, how a sunscreen feels on your skin after application is huge, and this one surprised me. Even though it has a brightening function, it doesn't feel heavy at all and spreads really smoothly. There's definitely a layer of product on your face, but it doesn't feel greasy or weighty. The shipping was quick and the price is really affordable. The formula does feel a bit thick and sticky, which is something to note. I first tried the Presially BB cream as a product tester and loved it so much that I made it my go-to. I was looking to gift it to a friend and spotted a great deal on the sun serum, so I grabbed both. I haven't found a sunscreen that works for me because I'm not sure if it's the pore-clogging or specific ingredients causing irritation, but I always end up with itching and redness. However, the sun pact and this sun serum have been different. I think it might come down to the concentration of active ingredients. The Presially tone-up sun serum doesn't irritate or itch, so I can use it comfortably. It's also hydrating, which really helps during the drier seasons when my skin needs that moisture boost. Plus, even though I can't see it working, I know it's protecting me from UV rays, so I'm really satisfied. The packaging is also a tube, which is super convenient to squeeze out, and the opening looks like a dropper, making it hygienic. That's another reason why I love Presially products! The product says it has a tone-up effect, but like many others have pointed out, it doesn't really brighten your complexion. You just have to be happy with the subtle luminous glow it gives. I use a wedge sponge for my skin makeup, and I usually don't use the textured side. When I apply thinner sun products using that textured side, it spreads beautifully without any waste. My skin used to be combination, leaning toward oily, but recently it's become dry. I tried all sorts of base products—BB creams, CC creams, foundations, cushions—and they all started looking patchy on me. I was exfoliating daily in different ways trying to fix it, but my skin got irritated and the flaking just got worse. Then I discovered this tone-up serum, and I'm so glad I did. The photos I attached show it applied twice and three times. It absorbs incredibly fast, just like a basic essence would. I've tried other tone-up products that absorb quickly at first, but then after about 10 minutes, only the hydrating gel sinks in while the rest sits on top looking chalky and weird. This one is genuinely different—it feels like a basic essence. You only need two applications, or you could even apply it generously just once if you prefer. My skin is in the worst state right now with constant patchiness, so I tested applying it thinly three times. In the photo with three layers, you can see some dust-like particles—I think those are actually dead skin cells naturally shedding as I applied it. It's kind of amazing. I used to love Vanilla Co's CC cream, but when they reformulated it as vegan, it started looking patchy on me. So I haven't had a CC cream I could comfortably use freely. But this? I use it generously as a daily sunscreen and also as a base for makeup, and it's absolutely perfect. The texture is thinner than most BB or CC creams, so I'll probably go through two bottles a month. I really hate when makeup products last forever. Even my holy grails sit around opened for ages, and I hate that. Most people doing makeup these days open everything at once and use it all together, right? So the shelf life after opening gets really long for each product. But foundations, CC creams, and BB creams usually come in small sizes anyway. This one has a small size and a thin formula, so even when I apply it generously, there's no patchiness—it gets used up quickly. I seriously recommend this as an everyday sun serum. Don't expect dramatic brightening or significant spot coverage. My redness has been pretty intense lately, and the tone correction wasn't strong enough for me. For most people though, it should provide decent tone correction.
