Rather than the moisture evaporating to create that velvet effect, it feels like the formula locks in hydration while shifting into a silky, velvet texture. It's honestly amazing! Key Features: Since it's fall and winter season with drier weather, this lip product is my complete lip care solution. I was worried about flaking and peeling, but this truly calms everything down. It's not a dramatic transformation, but with consistent use, there's this subtle soothing effect that happens. I used to reach for lip balm five times a day, now I barely need it once! Color Selection: I ended up buying all four shades, and I have to say, they look so much prettier on the lips than they do in the container! Shade 1: It's like coral with just a drop of pink. Honestly, it screams spring! In the tube it looks like a plain orange, but on your lips it becomes pure coral magic. Shade 2: This is my personal favorite. True to its name, it's like maple and brick tones blended together? While it's marketed as a warm tone, I think it would look stunning on cool undertones too if applied sheer! I have cool undertones but I still wear it sometimes when I want to emphasize my lips. The actual color appears slightly more muted than in photos! I bought it specifically for its soothing properties, and wow! It has this velvety feel with incredible moisture! If moisture and velvet could coexist, this is exactly what it would feel like. It's absolutely perfect for the dry autumn and winter months! It's my go-to daily tint. I've read that it has soothing and exfoliating benefits, and while you won't see results overnight, your lips definitely feel more comfortable, and compared to other tints, there's noticeably less emphasis on dry patches. The staying power is fantastic! Once applied, it easily lasts throughout the entire day! The amount of product per application is a bit tricky, but honestly, that's something I can control myself, so it's not really a problem for me. When I apply too much, it does feel heavy, but when I use just the right amount, it looks absolutely gorgeous. You can really feel both the velvet texture and the moisture. If you find the amount difficult to control, I recommend dotting it gently on your lips and then blending it in. It applies perfectly that way!
