My skin type is combination, and this product absorbs beautifully into the skin like water, so there's no inner dryness. After application, it has a slightly gel-like consistency that prevents surface dryness too!! I absolutely recommend this for combination skin! I honestly can't think of any major drawbacks! I didn't experience any breakouts while using it, and it feels really gentle on my skin. That said, those with oily skin might find it doesn't work as well for them during the summer months. I used to struggle with severe inner dryness, and my skin would always look flaky and textured when I applied makeup. My skin is combination—leaning oily in summer but dry in winter—and I also deal with sensitivity and breakouts. I picked up this product because I really needed a toner, wanted something soothing, and the price seemed right. But honestly, I'm disappointed. This might work okay in winter, but it's spring now and summer's coming soon with all that sweat and humidity, so this feels way too heavy. Even while I'm applying it, I can feel how sticky it is, and it doesn't get better after. My skin and hands feel so tacky that I had to wash my hands and rinse my face again, then use a different product instead. I was hoping since it's supposed to be calming, it would actually calm my skin, but I didn't really see any difference. My skin is super sensitive and prone to breakouts, and when I did get a breakout, this actually seemed to irritate it more. I wondered if it was just this product, so I also tried the toner pads they gave me as a sample, but this brand seems to just be heavy and sticky across the board. It's not a good match for me. I was in a rush to find a toner and spent a few days thinking it over before buying, so I'm really let down that it didn't live up to my expectations. It feels too wasteful not to use it, so I've been adding this toner to my sheet masks instead of water, and honestly, that works a little better. But I'm definitely going to try a different toner next time.

I have oily skin, so I use a lot of toner, and I'm really happy that this comes in a large size. Even though I have sensitive, atopy-prone skin, I can use it without major irritation, and honestly, there's nothing I'd complain about.
