I'm really happy with how this works as both a shampoo and body wash. It's so convenient having an all-in-one product like this! I grabbed this during a sale and got amazing value for the price. I also appreciated that it's fragrance-free, which worked perfectly for me. The unscented formula is a bit too plain for adult use in my opinion. I've been using several Papa Recipe cosmetics products because they're so gentle, and this wash is my first time trying it! As expected, it's incredibly mild and I'm very satisfied! Just a small squeeze onto my shower pouf creates plenty of lather. Even though it's labeled as a bath and shampoo, I use it as a body wash only, and after showering my skin feels moisturized and hydrated rather than dry, which is amazing! I'm using it together with my elementary school kids. The cute design on the bottle has the kids wanting to use only this product, haha. I'm so satisfied that I'm definitely planning to repurchase once we run out! The only downside is that the cap is a bit inconvenient to open and close. The lather is seriously impressive! Usually, when products focus on quality ingredients and eco-friendly formulas, they tend to skimp on the bubbles, right? But this one is genuinely different. I get more lather with the same amount as regular shampoo, so I actually use less. The cleansing power feels really solid too! I normally use a lot of spray products and do conditioner before shampoo, but because this creates such great lather, I can shampoo first without any tangling issues. Plus, it's gentle enough for my whole body. The ingredients are so good that I even gave it to my friend who has sensitive skin, along with some jojoba oil! It feels like a complete set and makes such a thoughtful gift. Here's the thing about the scent. It says unscented, but it's not really unscented—it smells like chemicals or plastic, honestly. It's not a pleasant smell at all. The odor doesn't linger after you rinse, but you definitely notice it in the shampoo lather when you first use it. I think it's because they didn't use fragrance, but honestly, I don't think anyone would love how it feels to use because of this issue. Because of the scent, I mixed it with some leftover body wash that had a stronger fragrance—about a 10 to 1 ratio. That actually covers up the chemical smell really well! For my hair, I use a treatment afterward, so the scent from that masks it fine. I've tried using this as both a shampoo and body wash, and I really love how moisturizing it feels. The scent is wonderful too—it smells natural and not overly perfumed at all. You only need a small amount to get a rich, creamy lather. After washing, the moisturizing benefits leave your skin feeling silky smooth, and once you pat dry, your skin feels so nourished that you can skip the emulsion or oil altogether. I grabbed this during a sale and I'm really happy with it. The fact that it works as both a shampoo and body wash is fantastic too—it cuts down my shower routine significantly. There are some ingredients that can potentially trigger breakouts, and I did notice that oil buildup wasn't completely removed from my T-zone when I washed my face. That said, since I use a dedicated facial cleanser anyway, it's not really a problem for me. For the price, I think it's a solid buy and I'll definitely keep using it. I've been using this with a soft natural loofah to create a rich lather. If you don't have extremely sensitive or delicate skin, washing with the loofah gives you a nice gentle exfoliating effect that leaves your skin feeling refreshed and clean.
