I tried this line because the Schisandra product is so famous, and honestly, using it really calms down flaky and dry skin instantly! I use it about once a week when my skin is generally doing okay but I notice some flaking that makes my makeup look patchy. For daily use, it's a bit too strong for my skin! I'll share other ways I use it in the tips section below! I don't recommend using an exfoliating toner multiple times as a final step after a treatment, because the pad has a slightly textured surface that can irritate your face while removing dead skin. If you have sensitive skin, I'd suggest using the exfoliating toner very gently just once, or honestly, skipping it altogether. When I notice flaking around my nose while doing my makeup, I gently wipe that area with this pad (using as little moisture as possible!) and then reapply my makeup, and it goes on so much better. I have oily, sensitive skin with enlarged pores, and this product is absolutely perfect for me. It mattifies my skin, minimizes my pores, and provides amazing soothing benefits. Whenever my skin feels irritated or tired, I apply this for 15 minutes before bed, and the next morning my skin is completely calmed down with noticeably smaller-looking pores. I originally bought it alongside a cushion foundation, loved it so much, and I've already gone through about five of these! It's fantastic, but there are a couple of minor drawbacks. First, it doesn't split in half as easily as I'd like. Second, if I stop using it regularly, my pores become very noticeable again, so I really need to use it consistently to maintain the results. I love that these are exfoliating toner pads. I always keep them stocked because they're my go-to product during negotiation season. I wish I could use these up faster so I can go back to my original toner pads.

First, the essence amount is generous - the pad holds the product really well, and after using the pad, there's still enough essence left that I can get every last drop out of it. Second, exfoliation and skin texture? Absolutely. It does smooth out rough patches and some buildup, leaving my skin noticeably smoother afterward, though it's not a dramatic transformation - I still do separate exfoliation treatments when needed. Third, there's no irritation at all, so I can use it daily without worry. Fourth, even if essence gets in my eyes, it's totally fine. Since I use pads that are saturated with product, essence sometimes gets in my eyes, and it usually stings, but this pad doesn't cause much irritation, which is really convenient. Fifth, my skin doesn't feel tight after using it - it stays hydrated and dewy. First, the results are underwhelming. It doesn't deliver the dramatic transformation the ads promise - it just gives a subtle improvement to my skin's condition. Second, the pad quality is disappointing. I barely applied pressure and only rubbed a few times, but the embossed texture already started falling apart. The pad deteriorates quickly for the amount of time I actually use it. Third, I wish I could reuse it. On days when I need extra coverage, I pull out two pads to wipe my whole face, then grab a fresh one to apply to my cheeks like a mask for about five minutes. But when I move that cheek pad to my chin or between my brows, half of it falls off and dangles. Other brands' pads hold up fine when I move them to different spots, which really shows the difference. The exfoliation feels really effective, and after using it, my skin feels incredibly smooth and refined. The essence amount seems a bit less than I expected, and the pads are slightly on the thicker side.

Love this pad format for my schisandra serum! No need to rinse it off, which is so convenient. It really helps slough away dead skin before makeup application. The texture feels a bit stiff and synthetic rather than pure cotton, so it can be irritating on sensitive skin. It requires a very gentle touch, but I'm really happy with it as a one-step morning treatment. This product is incredibly hydrating and does an amazing job of soothing and calming the skin. The essence feels so fresh and clean, giving the best finish I've experienced with any pad I've tried before. When I use it to wipe my face, my skin feels incredibly smooth and soft—it's such a wonderful sensation! I purchased this product through a discount deal and wanted to share my honest review! I usually write reviews after using about half the product, but after three weeks of use, I noticed real improvements in my texture and small bumps! That said, compared to my previous skincare routine, the results came a bit slower. I had both texture issues and small bumps, but the small bumps started disappearing after I began doing 15-minute sheet masks every other day and being consistent with the treatment. I'm not entirely sure about its effect on acne, but when I applied this pad to my acne-prone areas, it didn't sting or make them worse, which was great! The essence amount was quite generous at first, and it actually dripped down and got in my eyes, which stung like crazy! So be careful with that. Just a heads up! I definitely didn't experience any makeup slipping or breaking down while using this. The pads are quite thick, so they're a bit difficult to stretch, but they feel like really quality pads. The pads are honestly so good that I wondered if that's why the price is a bit higher! Overall, I'm really happy with this product. The price is the main concern! I probably wouldn't buy it without a discount. The product quality itself feels solid, but the results take a bit longer to show compared to what I'd expect. It's perfect for using every other day!
