The absorption is quite good, so even when I apply a generous amount, a few gentle taps leave it feeling clean and non-sticky. Despite that lightweight finish, it does provide moisture. If a product is only light, you often feel dryness within 30 minutes of absorption, but this one doesn't have that problem. It delivers just the right amount of hydration for an evening finishing cream. It's not that it completely fills in dehydration, but rather you can use it without any tightness or pulling sensation. The tricky thing about gel creams is that if they're too light, they feel tight and uncomfortable. It's hard to find a product that balances that dewy feel with a clean finish. Panell Cica Manu Gel Cream seems to hit that sweet spot really well. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a summer finishing cream that won't leave your skin feeling dry. Hmm, it just didn't work for my skin, so I had to toss it. It seems pretty oily to me, and whenever I use anything with that much oil content, I break out immediately. This product did exactly that to me. So I had to calm things down with Panell's Cica Serum from the same brand, and that one worked so much better for me. My skin was fine before, but after using this gel cream, my face turned red, got incredibly itchy, and I developed breakouts. It was honestly a disaster. If your skin doesn't do well with oily products, please don't use this.
