Perfect for dry skin types! This product delivers serious hydration and gives your complexion that gorgeous, luminous glow. If you have sensitive skin, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try. If you have oily skin, the dewy finish might read as overly shiny or greasy on you. The moisturizing formula can feel a bit tacky or sticky to some.

The coverage is really impressive, and I didn't experience any eye irritation. Even though I have sensitive skin, this product is gentle and works beautifully for me. There might be some white cast visible on the skin. If you have oily skin, you may notice it can look a bit shiny or greasy.

It gives a subtle brightening effect, and since it has sunscreen built in, this one product handles everything I need. Like most products in this category, you really need to blend it out carefully. I found a cosmetic product containing the same ingredient, wheat germ extract. The reviews were positive, so I decided to try it. This ingredient seems to calm my skin and provide sun protection all in one—it's like getting two benefits at once. It looks like sunscreen, but it's actually a tone-up base. True to its base formula, it evens out and brightens my complexion beautifully, making it perfect to apply before full makeup. Since it has UV protection, I can wear it daily as a sunscreen alternative. Because it has a pink tone, when I apply a lot to my face, there's a noticeable color difference with my neck and it sits on top of the skin. Once I applied it to my neck as well, it looked completely natural. I have very sensitive skin, and while my face had no issues, when I applied it to my neck, small bumps appeared within seconds. It seems like there's an ingredient that doesn't work for me—the irritation calmed down after a couple of hours. I think it would look more natural if it came in an ivory shade instead of pink. After applying a rich skincare product like La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm, I found this product a bit difficult to spread smoothly. It works better when I apply a hydrating, moisture-rich emulsion first.

Since I have oily skin, I used to hate how my foundation would wear away where oil breaks through, but this product is amazing! Even when oil surges, it just gets a bit shiny without looking messy or patchy on my skin. That's the real game-changer! I really wish they'd make a beige shade too, because I want that barely-there, no-makeup makeup look. Right now it only comes in pink, so for typical medium skin tones like mine, it does show up a bit noticeably. It gives you about one shade lighter with that peachy-pink tone. That said, as time goes on it blends in more naturally and looks really seamless. If you have really oily skin, try applying a light powder on top or keep blotting papers handy and dab frequently! The formula doesn't break down or disappear when oil comes through, so you can just gently blot and keep it looking clean and fresh.
