Aloe and soothing gels are known for their calming benefits, but since I have extremely dry skin, they usually make my skin even drier and don't deliver noticeable soothing results. That method works fine, but here's what I do instead: I apply a generous amount of the wine gel, let it absorb slightly (even better if you use a device), and then place a soothing sheet mask on top instead of a toner pad. I found that it pairs really well with Dewytree soothing sheet masks, so that's what I use. By the way, Dewytree masks are fantastic too—definitely worth trying! It's incredibly gentle and mild... and when you keep it in the fridge, the cooling effect is absolutely amazing The price is quite steep. For a gel, the hydration is impressive and it absorbs well (you could even use it instead of an emulsion in summer), but during seasons like this, it has that typical gel feeling where it can feel a bit tight and uncomfortable when used alone If you're dealing with a breakout of those stubborn little bumps during seasonal changes... apply a generous layer of this, stick on some hydrating toner pads all over your face, and do a 20-minute treatment. This is my holy grail product! I have extremely dry skin, and when I mix it with rosehip oil, the combination works beautifully. There's nothing really to complain about, but if I had to pick something, it would be the price. Honestly, you really need to stock up on the larger size to feel like you're getting your money's worth.
