Plus, even though it comes in a mini size, it's actually quite generous in volume, so I feel like I'll be able to use it for a long time. The original product had a larger pan, which made it easy to apply just the shade I wanted. But with this mini version, all the shades are pressed together in one compact pan, and the smaller size means that when I use a regular brush, all three colors end up blending together on my face. The darkest shade is a bit too deep for my skin tone, so when I try to contour around the edges of my face, it looks patchy and uneven, which is disappointing. - ye*****Da khôDa mụnĐược đề xuất17/07/2023 (UTC+0)
I was so excited when this cool-toned contour first came out that I grabbed it right away! I'm really happy with how it's been working for me. Even though it's labeled as cool-toned, I was disappointed to find that some of the shades have a slightly yellow undertone to them. Here's my tip: start by using the lightest shade to create an overall shadow effect, then layer the darkest shade for more depth and definition. It looks gorgeous that way! - qh******Da trung tínhBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenLỗ chân lông to22/10/2022 (UTC+0)
I love the cool-toned shade and how beautifully it applies with rich color payoff! It's absolutely perfect for contouring. You really need to be careful with how much you use, and if you mess up the jawline shading, it can look muddy and unnatural.

I've dropped it so many times and it hasn't broken at all. It's really reliable and easy to use, which is exactly what I need!!!! There's really nothing to complain about. I genuinely love it. This is a total must-have recommendation. The nose contouring is stunning and blends beautifully for a natural finish. - lu*******Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenMẩn đỏĐược đề xuất17/02/2022 (UTC+0)
I was using Too Cool for School exclusively, but I wanted to find something without that yellow or red undertone, so I picked up this mini palette. I've been using it consistently ever since, and now I'm hearing it's been discontinued. I only found out when I came to write this review. Here's what I love: - The shadow colors look incredibly natural - With Too Cool for School, I only used certain shades, but with this one, every single color is a hit - The texture is so finely milled that there's zero clumping - Even when I layer it on, the color stays true and doesn't look muddy Honestly, it's just such a solid product. It's actually hard to put my thoughts into words because everything about it is just right There's some powder fallout, but honestly, that's pretty standard for this type of eyeshadow formula, so I wouldn't really call it a drawback The photo shows a comparison with Too Cool for School

Before I knew about the Rare Kind brand, beauty influencers were raving about it, and it kept selling out. Then a smaller mini contour palette came out, but that sold out too, so I waited! I finally managed to get the number 2 cool-tone contour after it was released. So I bought it with high expectations, but for my fair skin tone between shades 17 to 19, it reads more as a shadow color. While it does have a cool undertone with the redness removed, the cool brown shade is actually a bit too intense for me to use as a contour. When I purchased it, it came as part of a Lops collaboration set that included a red brush for nose contouring, which was a nice bonus. I genuinely recommend the free brush that Rare Kind includes! If you're thinking about this product, definitely get it as part of the collaboration set. I also received a mirror with mine, and it's red, which looks really pretty. That said, compared to other contour palettes, this case is surprisingly fragile. You absolutely cannot drop it. The contour inside breaks along with the case. The case is so delicate that it's difficult to carry around. Honestly, there's no real need for it to come in three colors. In my personal opinion, while the product itself isn't bad, if there's even a slight bump, the chances of it breaking are 100 percent compared to other contour palettes. I actually bought it partly because the case looked nice, but I got worried about damaging it, so I ended up using other contours instead. I don't think I'll be purchasing this again in the future.
w4********Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất16/01/2022 (UTC+0)I've been consistently using this contour shade from July 2021 through January 2022, and I'm almost out, which is why I'm finally writing this review. I have a warm undertone to my complexion, but when I used warm-toned contour shades, my face looked a bit dull and the product seemed to sit oddly on my skin. This product completely solved that problem for me. Some people might assume that because it's called Cool Brown, it's only for cool undertones, but that's not the case at all. This shade works beautifully for both warm and cool undertones. The yellow cast has been completely removed from the formula, which creates a much more natural-looking shadow. The product also comes in a generous amount, so it lasts a really long time. I repurchased it on February 12, 2022. The price is a bit steep, and there is some powder fallout, which can be a little messy. That said, this is a common issue with most contour shades, so I'm not going to hold it against this product. You can find this at a great price at the Seoul store. - lm*******Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtLỗ chân lông toMẩn đỏĐược đề xuất02/01/2022 (UTC+0)
The redness completely disappears, leaving a natural shadow shade with just the right amount of cool undertone. Mix all three shades together to contour your face and define your jawline, use the lightest shade to softly define your eye socket and bridge of your nose, then sculpt more detailed dimension with the mid-tone shade—and you're done with your contouring! The packaging design looks like a CD case, which is really pretty. Plus, it feels sturdy enough that I'm confident it would survive a drop without any damage. Honestly, there's barely any powder fallout, the color payoff is excellent, and the price point is really reasonable—I genuinely can't think of anything to complain about. - ye********Da dầuDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất14/11/2021 (UTC+0)
Since I have cool undertones, the shade matched my skin perfectly and looked gorgeous when I used it as an eyeshadow too. The mid-tone shade is so versatile and easy to work with for all kinds of looks The color payoff can be quite intense sometimes, so you really need to be careful with how much product you apply When I blend it with eyeshadow, it looks absolutely stunning - hy*****Da dầuDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất02/07/2021 (UTC+0)
There was a time when cool-toned contour products were all the rage, with brands like Peripera and Too Cool for School launching new options. But this brand already had cool-toned contours in their lineup before that trend hit, and I kept seeing it featured on makeup artist YouTube channels, so I decided to give it a try. First off, I was really impressed that there's absolutely no red undertone. Even when other products claim to be cool-toned with all the red removed, you can still see that reddish cast right in the pan. But this one? It's so neutral it almost has a khaki vibe, with just a subtle warm, ivory-like tone. The color payoff is excellent too. The powder is finely milled and does kick up a bit of dust, but since the color applies so beautifully, the fallout feels totally worth it. What I really love is how the shades are arranged in a circular pattern rather than in straight lines, which makes it super easy to blend them together. I'm honestly so happy with the color that I think I'll be sticking with this brand for my contour for a while. I've tried other contours like Etude's shadow contour, and they tend to have that subtle reddish tone in the pan too. Unless another brand releases a cool-toned contour that's as muted as this one, I don't think I'll be switching. The powder is finely milled and does kick up a bit of dust, but since the color applies so beautifully, the fallout feels totally worth it. The shades don't gradually deepen in even steps. Instead, it feels more like you're getting shade 1, shade 2, and then jumping to shade 5. I use the darkest shade as a brow color sometimes, and I often mix it in when I need a stronger contour effect, so it really depends on how you want to use it. It looks like it's only available online at Olive Young. Since you can't find it in physical stores, you have to buy it blind without being able to test it first.
