This product barely stains, which is actually great for keeping your lips healthy and easy to clean. But honestly, as a lip base, it's absolutely perfect! No matter what you layer on top, it creates such a polished, harmonious look. It does have a slightly warmer, more yellow undertone compared to typical tints, but the muted saturation makes your natural lip color look fresher and more radiant. The shade itself is really beautifully formulated. It has a subtle vanilla scent that doesn't feel heavy, and there's this moisturizing, almost oily quality that makes it glide on like silk. So your lips never feel dry. It covers your lip line really well too, making it genuinely ideal as a lip base. The downside is, it reminds me of Shu Uemura's Supreme Matte, but while that feels like a thick, clay-like lipstick, this one applies thinner and feels more like a creamy crayon lipstick. It sits on top of your lips. At first, I was honestly frustrated with it because it looked patchy and settled into every line and dry patch, and since it's not even a true matte, I really regretted buying it. Now I've adapted to it and use it regularly, but I've learned the trick: I avoid applying it to the inner lip area and instead tap it on gently. When you apply it with that light, layering technique, it works much better. I also make sure to exfoliate and prep my lips regularly. Since I personally hate putting foundation or powder on my lips, I do it this way, but if you're someone who applies a lip base first, you might want to remove some of that oily feeling before layering this on top. If there's too much oil on your lips, it'll slide around and won't apply smoothly. Oh, and just to clarify, this is definitely not a matte lipstick. When you swatch it on your hand, it has a noticeable shine. I'd say it's more of a semi-matte finish. - yu*********Da hỗn hợpĐược đề xuất03/06/2021 (UTC+0)
I have both the tint and lipstick in toast beige, and I've noticed the tint has more of a yellow undertone while the lipstick leans toward a pinky shade. Personally, I'm really drawn to the color of the toast beige lipstick The tint has quite a few drawbacks, but the lipstick is pretty much flawless - kw********Da khôDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất13/02/2021 (UTC+0)
1. Applies so smoothly and evenly with zero flakiness or patchiness. 2. Perfect as a lip base shade - the color is absolutely gorgeous and works beautifully on its own with such a lovely vibe! 3. Blends and smudges beautifully. +Not sure if this counts as a pro, but there's barely any scent, which some might actually prefer. 1. The price is honestly hard to justify, especially since this shade is pretty common. 2. The staying power is quite weak - and since it's meant as a base color, it feels even less long-lasting. 3. It's really difficult to tell the shades apart just by looking at the lipstick itself - the tube is red and the label on the bottom is also red, so everything blends together. Once you layer this as a base, literally any lip color you put on top looks amazing! - su*********Da hỗn hợpDa mụnĐược đề xuất03/02/2021 (UTC+0)
I was torn between a tint and a lipstick, but I went with the lipstick because it seemed to have better staying power for use as a base product. First of all, I absolutely love the case itself - it's so beautiful and elegant. The color is a perfect nude shade for a base, and I really appreciated that it has just enough pigmentation without being too intense. There's a bit of texture from dry patches, but it's not noticeable enough to be bothersome.

This lipstick doesn't give you that perfect, flawless grip on the lips ■Longevity It completely disappears after eating ●Pro Tip Applying it thinly with a brush actually helps it adhere better and last longer
08*****Da hỗn hợpDa mụnĐược đề xuất31/12/2020 (UTC+0)I've been using this since October 7, 2020, and here's my review. About me: Deep undertone / Warm-leaning / Better for autumn and winter / Cool-toned makeup doesn't suit me My lip condition: I apply lip balm regularly, keep my lips moisturized at all times, and even matte lipsticks look great on me. No dry patches or flaking. Have questions? Feel free to ask in the comments! Price: 18,000 won is definitely a significant investment What I love: Packaging: True to Rare Kind's reputation for trendy design, this comes in a striking red glossy case with the brand name in English lettering and an edgy cap that looks really cool. Formula: I was worried about how a matte formula would perform with any moisture, but this turned out to be exactly the kind of non-glossy matte finish I adore. It applies thin and light on the lips, which I appreciate even more. Color: It's a beige with a subtle coral undertone. Even though I have a deep undertone, it applies beautifully on its own without looking off (I can see some orange tones when it's on my lips). It's perfect as a warm-toned base shade. Note: The lip photos show just lip liner in the first image, full coverage in the second, and the last two show how it looks layered with other lip products. Application: Despite being matte, it doesn't feel dry or stiff at all. It glides on incredibly smoothly. Stay power: I'd say it's excellent. Lipsticks usually transfer more than lip tints, but this barely came off even when drinking through a straw (using a paper straw). It really stays put. Longevity: Once applied, I barely needed to touch it up. The staying power is fantastic! Dryness: Because it applies so thin and light, there's no dryness whatsoever. Versatility: I used it as a base shade, it covered up dull lip color beautifully, and I even used it for overlining. I haven't tried mixing it with concealer to cover dark circles, but if you ask in the comments, I'll give it a try! Best for: I'd recommend this to anyone with warm undertones, especially those with deep undertones like me. Would I repurchase: The product itself is really great, but there are so many affordable base shades with similar quality available at drugstores now. The price point doesn't feel as justified anymore, so I'd need to think carefully about repurchasing. What could be better: Price: With overlining becoming such a trend, drugstores have been releasing tons of base shades lately, many at lower prices with comparable quality. This makes the price feel relatively high (you could wait for sales, but Rare Kind doesn't discount often). Settling into fine lines: The smooth application is great, but the formula does settle into fine lines. When you need to touch up, it's best to completely remove it first before reapplying. If you take good care of your lips and don't have dry patches, you might not notice this, but if you do have any texture, the product will likely settle there too. Minor issue: Fingerprints on the packaging. The sleek design is beautiful, but fingerprints do show. Just wipe it off when you handle it and you're fine. How to apply with and without a lip brush: With a lip brush: Use a flat, thin brush rather than a fluffy one. Apply the product evenly on both sides of the brush, then dab it onto your lips and press gently to set. This gives you a thin, even application. Without a lip brush: Don't swipe the product directly from the tube. Instead, dab it onto your lips gently. After dabbing, just blend it out lightly without over-working it. This way, you'll get a light application that doesn't clump. - my*****Da khôDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất11/10/2020 (UTC+0)
* In the photo, 03 is Toast Beige _Formula (8/10) This semi-matte formula glides on thin and light over the lips, finishing with a soft, powdery feel. It doesn't emphasize fine lines too much, but on my dry lips with lots of texture, I did notice a bit of line-showing. When I touch it up with another layer, it applies beautifully without pilling. _Application (9/10) It spreads so smoothly and evenly that I can easily apply it with just my fingertip—no special tools needed. This makes quick touch-ups on the go super convenient! _Color Payoff (9/10) The color shows up exactly as it looks in the tube, and because it applies sheer, it blends naturally with my lips' own tone for a flattering finish. _Shade (9/10) It's a warm, smoky peach beige. While it looks understated in the tube, once it's on my lips, this shade actually brightens my whole face more than I expected. It's tricky to wear solo, but it's absolutely perfect as a base shade! _Longevity (6/10) This isn't a long-wear formula—it doesn't fully set on the lips, so the wear time is shorter. Plus, there's barely any staining, so if lasting power is important to you, you might want to think twice about this one. _Packaging (8/10) The angular design features a red background with white lettering, and it has a subtle satin sheen that feels refined and luxe. The packaging holds the lipstick securely in place, so there's no risk of breakage. The downside is that all the shades come in the same package design and color, which makes it annoying to tell them apart. The packaging and longevity are honestly my biggest letdowns with this one!
mc****Da khôDa nhạy cảmDa dị ứngĐược đề xuất04/10/2020 (UTC+0)First off, the color selection is absolutely stunning - I'm seriously impressed! This nude beige shade is so gorgeous and works as a perfect base for anyone. Since I personally love keeping my makeup look light and subtle, I honestly just wear this shade on its own all the time! That said, if you prefer deeper, bolder colors, this is still fantastic as a base layer! And even though it's labeled as a matte lipstick, the application is incredibly smooth - like, seriously smooth! It glides on so effortlessly and feels silky when you're applying it. To be honest, after you put it on, it doesn't look quite as matte compared to other lipsticks, but I actually think that's a huge plus! The finish is more refined and elegant. I genuinely want to recommend this lipstick to everyone because I think it's absolutely perfect! The color is so universally flattering as a base shade that there's really no one it wouldn't suit, and the application is just flawless! I'm in love with this, Rare Kind! Hmm, the staying power isn't quite as impressive as I'd hoped. And I do notice a bit of transfer on me, though I guess that varies from person to person. But here's the thing - the stunning color and incredible application more than make up for it! Don't forget about those amazing qualities! Works great as a base layer. Can also be worn on its own! This is truly a multi-purpose must-have. - st****Da dầuDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất22/08/2020 (UTC+0)
It's a lovely neutral beige shade that applies so smoothly and effortlessly. I really love how soft and blendable it is. The main drawback is the higher price point, and the case design makes it a bit tricky to distinguish between the different shades, which can be frustrating.

If you love nude lips, this alone looks stunning, and it works beautifully as a base too - so natural and gorgeous! In short, this is a total multi-tasker! Texture: First of all, there's zero flakiness! It's labeled as a matte lip, but it applies so smoothly and effortlessly! Out of all my matte lipsticks, this is the one where I worry the least about dry patches! Scent: Sweet baked bread fragrance with a hint of chocolate. It's so deliciously sweet that I keep wanting to smell it again! Trust me and give this a try - you won't regret it! This is honestly the perfect combination you can create! There's really nothing negative to say, but if I had to pick something, it would be the price point. 1) As a Base: You can absolutely use this as a lip base, and it pairs beautifully with literally any color! Apply this as your base, then dab your desired shade on top to create a gorgeous gradient lip effect! 2) Nude Lip: I can confidently say this is a must-have for anyone who loves a natural, effortless nude lip! Even with just one layer, it gives you a lovely flush of color that looks incredibly pretty and natural.
