I had really severe scalp flaking, but this product completely transformed my scalp! Since my scalp tends to be on the dry side, I was initially hesitant when I saw alcohol in the ingredients. However, once I actually used it, my scalp felt so clean and refreshed. I'm really happy with the results. I usually go for rosemary-infused hair products and loved the ingredient list, so I grabbed it. Surprisingly, it worked better on my hair strands than on my scalp, so I ended up using it more like a conditioner. Even with just a tiny amount, my hair feels incredibly soft and smooth compared to regular treatments. The product description claims it cleanses away fine dust and scalp buildup, but since I have oily scalp, applying it all over my scalp left me feeling uncomfortable. It felt like buildup was accumulating and my pores were getting clogged. Maybe leaving it on like a treatment made it worse, I'm not entirely sure. Plus, it has this slippery texture that doesn't rinse out easily even after rinsing thoroughly with water. At first I wasn't sure if I'd rinsed it all out, so I probably used way more water than necessary. The product itself seems really good, but I'd only recommend applying it to your scalp if you have dry scalp type! A little goes a long way with this one, so you'll love how economical it is. Before using the scalp scraper, I only shampooed and my scalp would itch right after washing, with flakes left behind. But after using the scalp scraper, my scalp doesn't itch at all anymore. The massage felt refreshing during the process—there's a cool, minty sensation (though it's not overpowering), which felt wonderful. I wish the applicator had a more pointed, elongated tip so it could reach the scalp more directly. I'm honestly not sure if the product is coating my hair or actually touching my scalp, which makes me uncertain about whether I'm using it correctly. Because of this confusion, I feel like I'll go through the product much faster than expected. Important note: Please pay close attention to this. If you've recently had your hair colored or bleached, I strongly recommend waiting at least a week after the chemical treatment before using the scalp scraper again. I made the mistake of using the scalp scraper just two days after bleaching and coloring my hair while shampooing as usual, and I experienced something shocking—large flakes of scalp buildup came off like crispy rice crackers (it honestly looked like a snake shedding its skin). It seems that after chemical treatments, the scalp becomes weakened and sensitive, and using the scalp scraper on compromised skin caused my scalp to temporarily become extremely dry. I love that I can use this while showering - it's so convenient! My hair was damaged from coloring and kept getting tangled even after trying other treatments, but this scalp scaler has been amazing. It takes care of my scalp while making my hair silky and shiny. I'm really impressed! My hair feels soft and looks great even after blow-drying. Plus, the generous size makes it excellent value for the price! The scent isn't really my thing. If you love rosemary fragrance, you'll probably enjoy it, but if you're not a fan, I'd skip it. That said, the smell fades after blow-drying, so it's not a huge deal in the end. You don't even need to use a separate conditioner after shampooing - this product alone is enough to improve your hair quality. You might find you don't need a conditioner at all!
