This is perfect to use whenever my scalp feels hot and irritated. The entire Astéra line is packed with cooling benefits, making it ideal for summer use. I love the refreshing peppermint scent that leaves me feeling invigorated. While the instructions suggest a 10-minute application, I prefer to apply it section by section and massage my scalp generously for about 20 minutes. Even though it contains oils, I was pleasantly surprised that it absorbs completely without leaving any greasy or sticky residue. Once it dries, my scalp returns to its normal state. I do notice better results when I use a generous amount, but the recommended single-use portion seems quite wasteful for the coverage needed. My main frustration is that the product tends to drip down toward my face while I'm applying it to my scalp, which is inconvenient.

It's that domino effect where if the top starts to sag, the bottom naturally follows! That's why I decided to give scalp care a try and pay more attention to it. First off, the glass bottle and applicator feel premium and work really well. It's super convenient to use! With menthol and alcohol, you get that refreshing, cooling sensation plus what feels like faster scalp flaking..? The price is a bit disappointing and the amount feels small. There's a measurement line showing the recommended amount per use, but honestly it doesn't last that long. The ingredient list is pretty shocking, I have to say. Apply it before shampooing and give your scalp a good massage with enough pressure to really stimulate it!
