I finished using Rene Furterer Triphasic shampoo and decided to try Phytosha shampoo as my next purchase. Here's my verdict: I'd highly recommend this for oily and sensitive scalps. My scalp condition: - My hair is fine and lacks volume - My scalp is oily, getting greasy even after just one day without washing - I have a sensitive scalp prone to seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff The formula has a clear, gel-like texture that feels soothing. The color has a greenish tint, and it contains vibrant green granules inside. What are these granules? They're green capsules made from three essential oils encapsulated in biospheres created from seaweed-derived ingredients. When you massage your scalp during shampooing, these capsules burst and release the essential oils in their freshest form directly to your scalp. Make sure to massage thoroughly while shampooing so the essential oils reach your scalp effectively. Key features: - Free from SLES (harsh surfactants used in strong cleansers) - Silicone-free - Slightly acidic formula The capsules naturally dissolve and rinse away when you massage your hair. The lather is better than expected, though not as abundant as regular shampoos. Initially it seems foamy, but the bubbles do diminish after a bit. Despite all this, this product works wonderfully for me. Even without a cooling function, my scalp feels refreshed and there's absolutely no greasiness or buildup. It's honestly a reliable product that I use without any concerns. 1. Price - It's quite expensive, so I sometimes wait for it to go on sale online or purchase it at duty-free shops. 2. Stiffness - My hair is already very damaged, and this shampoo makes it feel really stiff. It has such strong cleansing power that it strips away even necessary oils. I'd recommend using it with a conditioner or hair treatment mask. For reference, the Rene Furterer treatment didn't work well for me. 3. No fragrance - If you're looking for a shampoo that leaves your hair smelling amazing, try a perfumed shampoo instead. This is a scalp care shampoo, so it doesn't have a scent. Personally, I don't mind since I like to wear perfume anyway. Use it with a shampoo brush! Sometimes the capsules don't break down and just rinse away without releasing their contents. When you use it with a shampoo brush, the capsules break open properly and work much better.

After washing, my hair feels so stiff and dry. Even when I use a separate conditioner, it's still incredibly stiff. The scent is like that familiar mint toothpaste smell that most people know, so there's no unpleasant odor, but I'm not sure if the scalp gets cleaner with this product compared to other brands, despite how dry it makes my hair feel. I compared it with another green tea shampoo, and I couldn't tell if this one performs better. The dryness is so severe that I can't recommend it to people with longer hair, and since the ingredients aren't particularly gentle, I wouldn't gift this to friends or family dealing with hair loss or scalp concerns. The price isn't budget-friendly either. So I don't think I'll be repurchasing this product. It's way too drying and the severity is so intense that I can't recommend it to people with long hair.
