The formula is so lightweight and watery that applying it feels almost like using an emulsion. You can create a natural, effortless look instead of heavy, cakey makeup. The bottle is small but packed with product, so you'll easily get over a year of use from just one. People with acne-prone skin might want more coverage, but this doesn't deliver heavy coverage. It feels almost like your natural skin, though you can build coverage by layering it or adding a bit of concealer on top. The downside is it only comes in one shade with no shade range, so if you have fair skin, this might not be the best match for you. Also, since it comes in a glass bottle, there's a chance too much product will come out when you dispense it. Seriously recommend this on days when your skin is breaking out or when you want something super light. Apply it and then use concealer on top to boost the coverage. I have oily skin, so I decided to give this a try, and I'm honestly surprised by how well it covers! I use it on its own without a concealer. I have trouble controlling the amount because my hands tend to be heavy-handed. So I pour a bit into a container and apply it with a puff instead. The only thing it really has going for it is that it's water-soluble foundation~ 1. Everyone kept saying it was great for oily skin, so I gave it a try, but I ended up breaking out in little bumps. After checking the ingredients, I realized they're not as good as I thought. It contains risky components like triethanolamine and phenoxyethanol, plus sorbic acid, which triggered an allergic reaction for me. Even if you have oily skin like me, if you also have sensitive skin, I'd really recommend double-checking the ingredient list before buying. 2. Honestly, it's so disappointing. This foundation feels breathable and comfortable without any heaviness. It doesn't cause any breakouts or irritation, which is amazing. Since it's not oily, my skin feels so much better in it. When I first started using this product, I wasn't sure how good it was because I wasn't cleansing properly back then. But now that I'm paying attention to my cleansing routine, I can really tell the difference it makes. As for the shade, I have deeper, more yellow undertones than shade 21, so even the lightest shade gives me a nice, radiant finish without looking too pale. So if your skin tone matches shade 21, you probably won't be happy with this. And here's the real problem: when you apply it with your fingers, it completely separates and looks patchy every single time. Plus, I have warm undertones and this shade is way too peachy for me. The color doesn't match between my neck and face at all. I mix this with plenty of mineral sunscreen and apply it with a puff, so I don't get any separation or patchiness. I don't think people with dry skin should use this foundation. I mix PS1 and PS2 together, and I've gone through about 8 bottles! I honestly can't imagine using any other foundation. Because it's water-based, my skin feels incredibly comfortable and happy with it. I have combination skin with acne-prone areas. The itching has improved so much that I'm using this exclusively now. I love that it doesn't create excess oil and washes away easily with water. What I really appreciate is how comfortable my skin feels, and I can apply makeup without worrying about oiliness. The lid-only closure is inconvenient. Also, it feels a bit stiff when applying. Since it washes off easily with sweat and water, I don't think I'll be able to use this during summer. It's water-soluble, so cleansing is super easy—just use soap and you're done! I use PS1 and I'd say this is around shade 21. The ingredients are pretty solid, and I love that my skin doesn't feel congested or heavy at all! It's really lightweight and minimal. The coverage is just average, but honestly it's not bad at all! If you have dry skin, this might feel quite parched on you. Since I have dry skin too, it's tough to apply smoothly, and after a while my skin starts to feel tight or my pores become more visible. The formula itself is gentle, so it's not that the product is making my skin feel dry—it's more that the texture is just drying. The staying power isn't great either. If you have dry skin, make sure to prep with a really hydrating base layer (especially around the sides of your nose)! I have sensitive skin and most cosmetics cause breakouts when I apply them, but this one didn't irritate my skin at all. Plus, it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating when I wear it. I have a cool undertone for winter, and shade 01 looked too yellow and dark on me. If the color were right, I'd definitely keep using it. I think shade 1 might be the perfect match for me, but there aren't many reviews out there, so I'm not sure. It applies beautifully even when I use my fingers to blend it on.

The container opening is a bit awkward to use, and I noticed some dryness. The scent isn't really my favorite either. I think you'd get even better results if you mix it with a hydrating cream.
