This product is absolutely perfect for creating that plump, dewy skin look. I reach for it all the time, especially when I want to look fresh-faced and youthful. Even considering it's a foundation formula, the performance isn't really impressive. Even if you're using a different foundation, I'd definitely recommend trying this on your T-zone, cheeks, and jawline. It delivers that instant 5-years-younger skin effect that's seriously unbeatable.

Depending on how much you use, you can achieve a matte finish, a dewy glow, or even a luminous shine - it really does it all. 2. The coverage is impressively full and firm, practically as good as a concealer. 3. The wear time is pretty decent and holds up reasonably well throughout the day. The glass jar packaging does make me a bit nervous, to be honest. Every time I open and close it, I worry that invisible particles or dust might get inside. I think I would have felt more confident if it came in a tube or cushion compact format instead. Pro tip: if you use a lip brush to apply this, you can actually use it as a concealer too.

I got a sample gel-cream foundation and visited the store to test it out. The staff applied the regular creamy foundation on one cheek and the EX version on the other. The creamy foundation had a semi-matte finish with a radiant, slightly dewy feel, but it still looked a bit matte overall. The EX foundation felt as luxuriously hydrated as it looks in the ads, like you just had a professional facial. My boyfriend, who doesn't know much about makeup, had the same impression when he saw both sides. The staff mentioned that the EX works beautifully all year round, and I didn't experience any feeling of heaviness or lack of coverage. Even after walking around for hours and checking it at home, it didn't break down or look messy at all. One heads-up though: shade 101 looks way too bare, so if you normally wear shade 21, definitely go for 201 instead! As expected, it's all about the packaging, but honestly, the case is so elegant that I have no complaints! Building a solid skincare foundation is really important. If you use Bioderma moisturizer plus Innisfree probiotic cream, your skin feels incredibly hydrated. Just be careful if you use products with hyaluronic acid, as they can sometimes cause pilling.
