This emulsion applies so smoothly and lightly, and after application it sets to a beautiful matte finish without any greasy residue or uncomfortable feeling. The lightweight formula delivers impressive coverage that lasts all day. It has a subtle luminosity that makes skin look naturally radiant and healthy. Even though my skin is sensitive, I experienced zero irritation or breakouts. I'm definitely repurchasing in other shades. The pump bottle requires careful hygiene maintenance. Most people who love bright, warm-toned shades prefer shade 100 over 101. I understand shade 100 is the newer release, but I regret choosing this color. Shade 100 has that perfect bright, warm tone you're looking for, while shade 101 has a more muted, cool-toned finish that feels dated. When I applied it, there was barely any difference between the shade and my actual skin tone. It applies beautifully thin with a lovely feel, though coverage is a bit light. Great news - RMK sells it at fantastic prices on their Naver store! I have fair skin tone 22, and shade 101 runs slightly dark on me. The jar packaging is inconvenient to use. I love how lightweight and natural-looking this coverage is, plus it feels so hydrating on my skin. The staying power isn't great. It doesn't last as long as Estée Lauder's Double Wear.

The coverage is quite sheer, so it's really only suitable if you're just looking for light color correction. Because of this, a concealer is essential, making it better suited for people with clear, dry skin. The hydration, adherence, and coverage are all fantastic - it gives you that flawless, poreless skin even when your complexion isn't at its best. Among RMK foundations, this one is the most moisturizing and dewy. The color is way too yellow and dark. This is a creamy foundation with a hydrating formula. It applies smoothly and creates a beautiful dewy finish that I really love. Shade 101 doesn't have the luminous quality I was hoping for compared to shade 21. The more layers I apply, the more it looks muddy and heavy. I have to apply it thinly and then add concealer on top, which means extra steps and more work. I'm halfway through the bottle and honestly, I'm not seeing the benefits I expected. The base needs either a hydrating primer like Hourglass Serum Primer or an oil underneath to look decent and prevent it from breaking down. I've been mixing it with a thinner concealer just to get the right shade and make it work.

Even when you layer it, there's no caking or pilling - it applies like a thin, seamless veil. With just a bit of prep work on your base and this foundation alone, you'll get that flawless, poreless skin that looks like a perfectly smooth egg. The downside is that the shade itself has a yellowish undertone, so if you have cool skin, it can look quite yellow on you. I'm lucky because I have warm undertones, so it blended naturally with my complexion. Still, I wish the shade range was better. Plus, it's a Japanese brand, which might be a consideration for some.
