Excellent quality. The color applies with a nice sheer finish while delivering impressive pigmentation. It has a glossy feel without ever feeling heavy or suffocating. Fragrance-free. I really appreciate that this product has no scent at all, since some lip products can have an odd smell that makes them unwearable. Affordable for a department store brand. With occasional discounts, you can snag this for under 30 dollars.
The shade doesn't work for me. I was drawn to the orange-red description, but it turned out way too brown, just like I feared. I'd say it's about 50 percent brown, 40 percent red, and 10 percent orange. When I apply it as a full lip color, it makes me look five years older. No color payoff whatsoever. The pigmentation is basically nonexistent, so I have to layer a light tint underneath as a base first. The whole line has such similar undertones. I love the RMK brand, but every shade feels like it has a deep undertone. All the colors are so muted and dull that there's honestly nothing here for deep undertone skin tones.
Perfect for those with deep undertones. Grab this if you prefer minimal staining.
